Wavebuster is best for the drones! Been a fan of Metroid since the original Metroid Prime on gamecube, its cool to see more people getting into this series!
Also Metroid is such a slept on series. Pretty much all of the games are hit. I messed around with Super Metroid on my switch in 2019 and didn't get into it. I bought a platinum GCN in December 2020, and out of a whole stack of GameCube games, i picked Prime 1. It took me a while but i eventually got into it and it hooked me. Prime 1 was also the first game i played with no prior knowledge and i went through it with no guides. After finishing up Prime 1, i played Fusion on the GBA(holy crap was it expensive) and i really enjoayed that aswell. After Fusion i wento onto Dread. I kinda have a theme with Metroid games and it that it takes me a while to get into them. But when i do get hooked im addicted to it. Dread was fun aswell. After Dread i got a Wii U second hand and started loading up on E shop game before it closed. I got Hunters, Prime trilogy, Super, and both GBA games. I got through Prime 2 over winter break and oh man that was truely incredible. Prime 2 is just as good as Prime 1, and depending on my mood that day it might be better. Prime 2 did so much stuff right and Torvus Bog is where its at for the music. I started up Prime 3 and that was a big change from the GCN Prime games. In like a quarter way through it, i just got busy with other games and school. I eventually completed Zero Mission which was fun, i wish i had that on GBA as a kid. And then i completed Super with minimal guide use. Right now ive played most of the games. Im only missing Metroid 2, got to finish up Prime 3, and Hunters. Its such a legendary series. When i was playing through Prime 2 i was going "why the hell is this not on Switch!?!??!" So many times. I hope with the success of Dread and Prime remastered that Metroid becomes more popular
Really wish (but doubt) we get a max remaster of Prime 2... cause It's what a perfect sequel should be. Bigger more mature story, new races, more lore, more unique gameplay tropes, with world shifting ala Zelda, and a high difficulty.
I’d love to experience Prime 2 and 3 with the same level of quality as Prime Remastered, but I gotta agree with you that I doubt we’ll get something this level again. Still, I’ll even take an up-res with dual stick controls on Switch over nothing lol
I love Metroid Prime so much! It's such an amazing 10/10 game. And the remaster was done so well. Actually there was sometimes i was playing the remaster and it felt like original, kinda goes to show how amazing the graphics of the original are. Also i dont know why but i still prefer the original controls over twin sticks My history with Metroid is kinda weird too. I think i was first introduced to it with Brawl and the Sub Space Emissary. I remember playing through the Samus and Pickachu mission and hearing the main menu music from Prime 1. Thats where i feel in love with the game even when i didnt know it existed.
#NewViewer here BTW💙💚♥️🖤😎 Have you ever heard about the Prime 2D fan made Metroid Prime game?? There’s a literal 2D version of Prime. With an interesting remix version of the music tracks also!…
prime 2 needs this
Yes! I’d love for Prime 2 to get this treatment :)
