What had Austin done? He had tons of explaining to do and would never hear the end of it, then was asked questions and was not able to answer.
The face Austin makes just as he's about to punch her and just after, so full of disgust, it's hilarious

To be fair, Austin does have reason to be suspicious: we have no information about Basil's mother being an agent with any sort of security clearance. As such, a valid question exists as to just *why* Basil's mother would be at the sight of an investigation.
