Phil Collins & Chester Thompson just sync so well together & when the third drummer Luis Conte came out my mind was blown! 🤯 I'm surprised at how musical they made it all sound and everything was just done with such perfection and I'm sure many hours of planning... I'd really love to watch the full concert... I saw this same performance in Florida on his First Final Farewell Tour and the entire concert was amazing...check out more from this concert... he ran around on stage, danced, sang (perfectly) and never seemed to get tired..so glad i can say i saw this live
I'm so glad you reacted to this, I knew you'd love it! I watch this a lot and I'm in absolute awe at the skill of these drummers! The third drummer was Luis Conte, he's from Cuba and he's a drummer/percussionist. Thanks so much for your great reaction! 😊👍
Luis Conte was the third drummer. He was on several of Phil's tours and a well regarded Cuban percussionist. Besides this concert, I would suggest his Berlin concert of 1990. And for a Genesis concert I would suggest their 1987 Wembley concert. All utterly amazing and well worth watching.
That was AMAZING!!! I don't think I actually shut my mouth throughout the whole thing. WOW!!! just...yeah...WOW!!! Thank you very much for the reaction. It was fabulous, just by itself, but knowing you, as a drummer yourself, were enjoying it probably even more, was totally AWESOME. I'm not a drummer, but I WANTED to be, back in high school. I got into the queue too late, though, and ended up "settling for" playing the cornet, which was my second choice (and I'm playing again, after many years, and loving it). I also still drum all over everything, everywhere I go, whenever there's music playing, though. I just can't help it. Rhythm is such a HUGE part of my life...not just in music, per se. Rhythm is EVERYWHERE to me, and THIS...OH...MY...GOODNESS!!! THANK YOU is WAY too small of an exclamation, but it will have to do!!!
