Thanks for this review! The tip on folding the towels in before getting sweaty is excellent. I was curious on how others used the mat in case I was doing it wrong! 🤣
Hi, just tried my new skidless towel, and quite disappointed- it is slippery from the beginning... in the down dog the feet are more like on ice, so after a few sun salutations I had to return back to my no-name towel. Is it only the first use, or am I missing something? Thanks
Hello, thank you very much for your response! :) Indeed spraying some water in the feet/hands region helps, but the water vaporizes quite quickly (we are about 28 degrees outdoor, and practicing indoor..) Well when you buy a towel advertised as non-slippery you would consider that it is really "non-slippery" - and not "non-slippery only when your feet/hands are wet" Anyway thanks again and have a nice day! :)
+Amber San I use yoga towels because I sweat quite a bit when I practice so I wash them after every use. If you don't really sweat a lot, then you can probably get away with a few uses before washing. Do you use an antibacterial mat spray? Maybe you can spray your towel and hang it to dry?
+Stretch #1 Hi there, a yoga mat can be used for any style of yoga (even pilates and other workouts). Ideally, the yoga mat provides cushioning for your joints and traction to avoid slipping. Yoga towels are simply that - towels. They can be used to absorb sweat and to prevent slipping on your mat. Not everyone needs a yoga towel but a yoga mat is good to have especially if you're practicing in a studio or gym. Hope that helps.
This was super helpful. My studio has mats so I want a towel to keep me off the shared surface and was trying to decide between these.
Thanks, I will go for the eQua then since I slide / jump allot and both seems to be no different. Thanks thanks and Namaste for this useful review.

I have both and I like both. I like the feel of the material of the Equa Towel but the Yogitoes Towel stays in place better. They are both excellent.
Thank you so much! super informative and honest.
Have an awesome day!
thank you so much for this video, time for me to get my towel ☺️ i need one now that yoga studios require me to bring my own mat/towel!
Thanks! Guess I'll go with the eQua
Thank you for your advices! Helpful

Hi use the same yoga towel at home everyday for 4 days and then change? How can I make sure it’s clean after I practice each day?

+Amber San If anyone else has any suggestions, please let us know! Thanks! :)
what is the difference between a yoga mat and a yoga towel besides the use for hot yoga. are there any more practical uses for one verses the two?

How do I wash it? Care instructions?
I throw mine in the washer gentle cycle.
