  • The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS is a great smartwatch with a decent amount of power, that is only slightly let down by the fact that it's stuck using WearOS 2.0. It has excellent speakers, incredibly accurate tracking, and battery life that lasts for days on end even with those advanced sensors running 24/7. While it doesn't get along all that well with iOS-based devices, paired to an Android smartphone it gives you all of the features that you'd expect from a decent smartwatch.

In the beginning, you say the Ultra 3 GPS has LTE capabilities. Maybe you can verify that since I can't get any info that the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS actually does LTE? From what I have found, there are two versions, and the version with LTE is called Ticwatch Pro 3 Cellular/LTE and is only available in Germany and Great Britain? Maybe it has changed since you made the video so an update would be nice.

The GPS version doesn't feature LTE - I think we were misinformed on that. The LTE version needs an eSim, and as you say, isn't currently available in the US.

Isn't the phone functionality problem with iPhones because Apple doesn't allow other than Apple Watch to do it? If so it is not a problem with the Ticwatch, but rather an issue that is unsolvable due to Apple being a pretty closed environment? I'm not dissing Apple or saying it's right or wrong, it's all up to them to quote safety and reliability to raise the walls to other manufacturers.

Xiaomi MiBand works fine with all phone notifications, and can sync data back to Apple Health, so I don't think that's the case.
