A faster way to open the chest is to whistle near the mimic chest it well come out, you do not lose ki or waste time opening it. thanks for the guide^^,,,

Hey man! Ik I’m 6 years too late Lmaoo but I’m getting into nioh and really fw your dual sword builds. It’s been stumping me but I can’t seem to Unlock windstorm. I just beat the advanced dojo mission for dual katanas and it’s still not unlocked yet? Any suggestions ?

I got tsuruga masamune and hocho toshiro with 6 places without Heart scale but i have O kanehira and uguisu maru with heart scale B- and 7 slots. can this one be ok?
You can inherit heart into your Tsuruga. But yep, both swords are good. Ultimately aim for Shisho-o & Hone-kui. That's the best one for this build ultimately and is the one I now use.

it's possible to change B scale with heart to A+?
i got 999 my weapon and 999k in dual swords. I tried do this in blacksmith with Divine item but always was B again.
I don't think so. Ultimately you would want to inherit into it. I've always had A- on mine that have gone to A+.
so when a weapon says less armor to increase attack, does that mean light armor set or what
It means for every piece of armor you unequip you'll get a boost to attack. However, what it doesn't tell you is that if you've soul matched attack onto your armor pieces already, the increase to attack by unequipping armor is minor and not worth the loss to the other stats you'll be losing.
Thanks for the video. I either have really bad luck or Im not sure if this works anymore, just did this 15 times in a row and got nothing but purple swords on Way of the Strong :(
Probably bad RNG as this wasn't patched. But I wouldn't do this anymore. I'd just farm for the smithing text on the Tea-Time Entertainment sub mission. Then you can craft the swords instead.

Thanks for the tips and video. I'm trying to get a any dual sword with inheritable Change to Attack (Skill) A+. Is it that hard to find? Been farming it for 2,5 hours.
Yep, it's hard. With all the extra rolls in the pool now it comes up a lot less often than it used to.
Oh I've never really try that way. Are you saying getting CTA (Skill) is also possible by reforging?
Yes, it is. However, it doesn't seem like you get the highest level CTA's without getting them by drops or forges. Personally I'm yet to even get a AAA CTA from forging/drops. Gave up even trying to be honest.
Fuzzy Bearbarian Thanks. I'll give a try for a day or two getting it from reforge. I've been farming in back and forth in Ranjatai and Master of the twin blades missions for 3 days but no luck so far to get A CTA (skill) dual sword.
Yess I finally get CTA Skill A+ for both my dual sword. Now I need to farm amrita to level up quick. Any tips?
Question Chief! - Is your revenant in this mission which I can farm for that Change to Attack Skill Enheritance Skill Sword? I keep getting exotic swords almost every time and not divine :( - using kodama bowl, weapon drop blessing, Itokuri as Primary Guardian Spirit and two fans as accessories with 25 luck each - Total Luck is like 136 - do I need more?)
Also I keep getting Odachi Revenants - can't see any Dual sword ones :(
My Revenant is long gone. They only last a little while before the refresh happens, and then the latest players to die will have their Revenants replace the old ones. If you're only getting Odachi Revenants that's probably all people are using right now. Are you in NG+? You only get divine gear in NG+ and on.
@@fuzzybearbarian Yes Sir - I have finished the main game, (not the DLC's yet) - Way of the Strong - went straight to mission The Missing .... (may be I need to play DLC's and other missions as well - before I get good gear to start dropping?) - but I am loving it - so much new content - new builds. Died like 50 times in Return of Gourd so far (will return to it later on). I have really good swords with Water Effect but they have Change to Attack (Heart) - all I need is Change to Attack (Skill) - thats all I need and I am satisfied with swords. Next I am thinking about building armor mix of Kingo and Tna....something mix of medium and Heavy. I have cleared Abyss 1 to 5 already.
I have already spent like 10+ hours of the missing Ranja.... mission. Please let me know if there is a possibility for you to login to Nioh - Way of Strong Difficulty and drop your Revenant in the missing Ranja.... I will really appreciate your time as it will save me hours of farming. Help out a fellow Aussie here :)
@@singh_ma9676 I would gladly drop you a Rev if I could, but my Nioh save was uninstalled 2 years ago. I'm all about Nioh 2 now. Play that I can give you a Rev :D Also, if I were you, I wouldn't grind too much yet. Get to Way of the Nioh and Abyss Level 30-40 first. At that point you'll have Ethereal gear to get and that's when builds really shine. Before that it's all wasted effort as everything you do will be obsolete by the time you get a little further on. Rush through to Way of the Nioh as fast as you can, clear first 30-40 levels of Abyss, then you can farm for the best builds in the game. Plus, there's still all of Way of the Nioh (same content) and 999 levels of Abyss to do after that, so it's not like you're costing yourself gameplay by rushing through. Nothing lost, just lots of time saved and lots of grind saved.

Yeah, I bought it on PS4 Pro - couldn't wait. Probably won't grab it on PC now though, unless they do cross-save, as I couldn't face the grind again.
Will Wooden swords spawn?
I sold mine and can't remember where I got them.
There is an achievement using dual wooden swords.

Yep, wooden swords drop all the time. But a nice easy way is to go into Marobashi and farm Yagyu Sekishusai. If he doesn't drop a wooden sword, die, and just respawn and try again until he does. He drops his sword frequently though, so it shouldn't be too much of an effort.

What is the achievement?
After you farmed and farmed,
Did you get dual swords with elements. Like fire, water, wind, lighting and earth.
I been playing with two set of swords like that is so fun.
I don't want to lose them in NG+
I'm glad you're having fun, however, weapons with elements on them are wasting a slot. If you use an elemental talisman it overrides the element on the weapon (meaning, talismans make elements on weapons redundant), plus elemental talismans proc elemental damage way faster. The amount of elemental damage on a weapon is always low, meaning it takes more hits to proc the elemental burn on an enemy, especially against an enemy with resistance. You're way better off with a higher damage weapon and then using an elemental talisman for your elemental damage. And with limited slots on every weapon, you're always best saving your slots for the best possible attribute that you can roll on a weapon. Also, you don't really need to farm weapons with elemental damage on them. I think all of them can be crafted. Can't think of one off-hand that can't be.

I put status alignment augmentation with one combo in low stand, the proc gets fills c change swords to the inflict the other element. Boom fun. Also attack damage (enemy scorch , muddy, bluster, saturated or eleytifiy) is really helpful. This game is awesome. There is not a set way to play. It does require a lot of thinking. Sometimes dumb questions. 😅😀
I been thinking how to implement magic and ninjitsu to the way I play. I don't come out with a way yet. I have the mystic art of magic and dual swords.
@@TheLateral18 I never posted a Ninjutsu build, but I did play with a build using the Hayabusa set (Dragon Ninja). It was the build that actually converted me from loving dual swords and only dual swords to single katana with the Flowing Shadow skill. After that I couldn't go back. Go farm Jin Hayabusa for his set and have a shot, you might end up loving it...

Thats a good idea, I was referring to implementing, ninja tools, I only use the power pill. I feel as if I can use more.
The skills I like the most (for now) is water sword and rajin . Feel like FFIIV 🤣🤣🤣🙂🙂😆😆😅😁😀

Sorry man, haven't played Nioh since patch 1.09. Stopped halfway through a new build too (when the grind kind of burned me out), so yeah, can't really help for now.

They drop as part of this mission, so if you're doing the mission, you should be getting them. But this video is pretty old now. Dual swords drop from tons of missions now, and also randomly as you play. So yeah, you should be getting them. Can't see how you could be doing anything wrong.

It's good enough. I'm not sure of everywhere you can get it, but I got my latest one in The Watcher in Darkness sub mission in the Sekigahara region. The Onmyo Mages there have a chance to drop it.

Yeah, no problem. I'll head there now and drop my revenant for you. If you're still on, you should be able to get it. It'll be at the shrine at the start of The Disappearing Ranjatai.

i guess suppa and catwalk are really best for farming!
Farming fast is always more about moving fast and less about stealth. That is why on a previous Ninjutsu build I ran I found suppa and catwalk of far less value than Tiger Running and max Dashing. If you have points invested in all four, well, you'll have no problem. But since I'm not currently running a Ninjutsu build at all, I have no points invested in any of those Ninjutsu abilities except Dashing and Cloudrunning, which are essential whether you have a Ninjutsu build or not.
This does not seem to work for me - for First playthrough - maybe its only possible with NG+

Yeah, this is for NG+. For NG, my advice is not to waste time farming. Play through with what drops. There's soooo much game after NG. Just do only what you have to do to get through, equipping the best stuff that drops as you go, and no more. Ultimately Way of the Nioh is where the game really starts, especially with builds, forging and soul matching. Try to get to that as fast as you can (even if you have to use co-op partners to help speed you through). Otherwise I guarantee you that you'll be burnt out on the game by the time you get there, and you don't want that as it's the most fun part.

@@singh_ma9676 I'm a PC gamer too, but always played Nioh on PS4 because I don't have it in me to wait. Once I've played a game I find it hard to then buy it on PC again. Almost grabbed it on special, but by the time I was done with Nioh I was, well, done. The Abyss burned me out. I might yet get Nioh 2 on it, we'll see.

I bought Horizon Zero Dawn a bit late for PS4 but as soon as I heard it was coming on PC, never played it. And Yes, I will also wait for Nioh 2 on PC, hopefully around November again - can't wait.
@@singh_ma9676 Horizon Zero Dawn on a 2080ti should be sweet. I started playing it on PS4 when it came out and it was fun, but for some reason I got bored quick and never went very far. Would be tempted to play it on PC too tbh. But today, it's Zombie Army 4: Dead War. That game is just too much fun I swear.

I forged about 10 dual swords at the blacksmith today and 1 of them was with 7 slots. Don't remember the other stats, but I think they were good.
That's good. I think I just had a really bad run for a very long time. Even now I've never been lucky with a 7 slot forge. Go figure.
I forged 50 swords tonight just to see - not one had 7 slots filled. Most were only 5, some 6, but no 7. I swear ...
I remembered wrong, the sword sucked! I still haven't found a 6-7 stat sword that hasn't lightning stat locked. Not long till I can do this mission with my eyes closed, but still fun ;)
If it has 7 stats you'll have one inheritable trait and one stat locked. The locked stat will be the element stat. Often two stats will be locked. If it's a set piece, the second locked stat will be the name of the set piece (as this is technically a stat, being the set pieces bonus stats). That is why it took so long for me to get a 7 stat dual sword with only 1 locked stat and Earth as the locked element stat. The good thing about Sishi-o & Hone-kui is that it's the second highest damage dual sword in the game, and the only one you can get without two locked stats. The highest damage dual sword in the game has a magic stat as a second locked stat. So Shishi actually ends up being the most damaging dual sword you can get if you aren't a pure magic build.
