The intro riff bring me back to the times of "les voyages de l'ame"
The fact that the vocals stay behind the instruments is a common thing in the shoegaze genre... mixed with the post-metal/rock elements, you get what Alcest is

Excellent song. Kudos to the dancer - they put her through a lot. This is a French 'post metal' band - not sure what that is but the song was great ! Cheers guys.

It felt like a long intro and an ending - but they forgot the middle section. It's definitely aiming at Progressive Metal, but isn't quite there yet. It's like Coldplay attempting to play Gojira.
