I definitely had my declutter going on last week. One box full and 5 grocery bags full went to the op shop (what thrift stores are called in Australia). I think that quote was correct, but it was telling only the partial truth. I don't need friends and basically only have acquaintances, and I'm happy with that, and who I am and what I do. However, that is not true for all. As much as I am confident with no deep friends, many others are equally as happy and confident. with 2, 3, or many friends.
I made pumpkin muffins last week too, but also added cocoa powder. Hubby would prefer not to eat most fruit and vegetables so you bet I'm gonna hide some in baked snacks. Have you thought about using silicone reusable bags? I've got about 40. They're great for storing frozen foods as well as storing things in the fridge and also using for fresh foods, suck as lunches. They take 10 seconds to hand wash and to dry I just turn them upside down and stand them over a glass or cup. Silicone bags are dearer than single use bags but last much longer than single use (even if washed and reused).
My issue with Shelftember (which is everyones?) is that all the crap that has been sitting in my cupboards for months is sitting there for a reason. If I wanted it, I'd pull it out in joy and eat it, yes? So I may have to do some serious donating the end of this month. Fajitas look delish - no onion, though? I adore onions!
There was an onion with the peppers. I'm just having fun with this challenge. I had a scare when we lost power for 5 days, and it made me realize that no matter how much food you have in your refrigerator and freezer, you can lose it all in a couple day. ❤️
