Awesome video! You can do last ride on every ride request and still keep your streak but you have 15 minutes break/pause or breather. That’s enough time to set destination to your hot spot and or bonus zone. Use the ‘Arrive on time’ filter instead of ‘Heading to destination’. I recommend scheduling the ‘Arrive on time’ filter 30 minutes in advance (30 minutes out + time to navigate to destination). If you don’t receive a ride request within 15 - 25 minutes, add another 15 - 25 minutes. It doesn’t ensure you will receive a ride - it only limits the kinds of rides you’ll receive. Just remember, if you don’t receive a ride request within 30 minutes, you’ll automatically go offline to continue navigating towards your destination thus lose your streak (complete 3 for extra $24 for example) and or bonuses (unlocked $26 bonus for example).
Not sure if I want to pick up a customer for 3$ or 4$ to drive 10 miles my pay limit on all gigs I do is nothing lower the 8$ and that's low for an hr...
You can decline the fourth request u still get the bonus, you can do this trick after you accept your third request put it last ride then you won’t get any request the app will put you offline after you drop off your third rider
Uhhmm so what are do u drive, what is your rate pee mile and minute, how many miles per gallon on your truck and how much gas u pay per week, the dont offer same bonus for all drivers and is not all days the week
I'm a new driver in DFW working towards the $2,300 earnings guarantee after 140 rides in the first 30 days. I am wondering if I will receive the $2,300 as soon as I complete the 140th ride, or if I have to wait until the 30 days is over? Thanks for the vid man. Really enjoyed the insight as a new driver.
How did you do? Did you hit your target? I had to hit 45 rides last weekend (not a guarantee, a bonus), and I ended up going down to the wire. I gave my last ride 20 bucks in cash to end his ride early and split it into two rides. He actually ended up getting a better rate because the rate on the 2nd half of his trip was not as expensive as where he was picked up from. AND he made 20 bucks. I got 250 for hitting my target!
Yeah they've cut back on them here. I think it really depends on how many drivers they have and demand. They offered big sign on bonuses and got more drivers so they cut back on daily bonuses but still have a few.
Depends on the area your are working obviously. They had bonuses all day Saturday and Sunday and half the day today (Monday). Yes.. now that they have more drivers the bonuses have decreased but it's all about demand and how many drivers there are. I made $288 Saturday in just under 5 hours and $306 Sunday in just over 7 hours.
So basically u can’t say I make 30 dollars if there is no streak so this is misleading.. they have to change the pay rate because to collect 50 to 79 percent from each ride the. U talkin about the pink area u should make it clear to the viewers this pink area only happen maybe one day sweet sometimes this is misleading
I won't drive unless I'm going to make $30 an hour or more cause it's just not worth it to me. You have to pick the right times like early in the morning and late at night. As for the pink zone you just have to learn your area because they tend to be in the same areas around the same times or near event that are going on so check your area and see what's happening. You can't just jump in your car and expect things to happen you have to make it happen!!
Lol.. your best bet is to download the different apps Lyft, Uber, Uber Eats, Door dash etc... That way you can look at the different apps and see who's paying most at that time. Get your lyft bonus then move over to Uber or whatever and get that bonus and so on. Just remember you have to file your taxes different at the end of the year but you can write off certain expenses to help with that.
ONLY do a driving gig if you're a good driver! Law of averages makes driving dangerous. The person who is only on the road a hour a day is FIVE TIMES less likely to have an accident than a person who's on the road 5 hours a day. So if driving is not your strong suit, I'd recommend against it.
I've been tipped 1,000 cash a few months back. And 300 last week. No trick to it. Depends on the person and you. Be your self and you never know. And never chase rides!!! Like the airport ect... Not worth it.
Oh there's a trick to tips like that. People don't trip their lyft drivers 300 bucks as a regular thing. If you've been tipped 1000 dollars, you're either gorgeous, or you're laying on some kind of sob story, or SOMETHING! lol It's not just because you're a 'friendly driver' that's for sure.
Lol.. look.. bonuses are area & demand dependent. Don't get made cause they don't have them in your area or every day of every week. There was absolutely no lying on my part. It might very well be dependent on your status with LYFT also. Why do they want to offer you big bonuses if your a half ass driver with a 4 star or lower rating with bad reviews. Think about it be for you make a fool of yourself in the comments!!
@@-manchild-9128 you are comedian...😂🤪...yes this is all lying, its not about bonuses... when you earn $30 in 5.4 hrs and pay $20 for gas... it's not about bonuses it's about being a shit....its ok..you will feel the pain one day man! When you have to bring food to table for kids with a wife dying from cancer... you will know
This doesn't apply now. Been doing 3 months now and no email on guarantees like that. Seen 60 rides for $140. Also, there is no streaks hardly anymore. Too many drivers. This doesn't hold now. Bonus areas are gone now. Now you have surges like Uber. Its crap. And a lower form of client as well because Lyft is cheaper than Uber. Do lyft only in some nicer areas at prime times.
Not really accurate, those 3 rides for $15 bonus does not come up everyday and if at all it’s most likely at night for the night drivers. Generally in the last three weeks the bonus or surge hardly comes due to more drivers back on the road. It’s no longer driving full time just drive when it’s peak early morning and late night.
Getting ready to go hit a ride streak right now. With bonuses and fares, I'll make AT LEAST 25 an hour, and that's during rush hour in ATL. Later on, when the streets are clear, I'll get more streaks, inside the city, and will be making 35 an hour easy.
You can use the 4th ride to restart streak bonus if its still in the hour of streak bonus

In LA I make with Lyft roughly around $400 in a 10 hr day
Downtown LA?
Still making same or more?
How you can seat in a car for 10hours its crazy men wow keep doing that
@@mohamedmenni5802 what’s the difference from being at an Amazon warehouse for 12hrs for only 150-200?
I made $300 an hr... basically you can make $200 on less busy days and about $500 in busy days.. and I live in Nashville.
You still making that same amount now?
Right now every UBER DRIVERS in CA start driving as Lyft drivers. LMAO

Deliveries are great I do those in morning and have a driving job to as well.
Streak bonuses are just about eradicated now in D/FW.

If you sign off before your last ride is complete you will still get the bonus.
Before no. Now they changed it to once you pick up your last ride you can then sign off
@@-manchild-9128 If you engage "turn on last ride" on the 3rd ride, you can decline the 4th ride in the queue and you will still get your bonus.

Your not going to get $2300. You’ll get the difference. It’s a guarantee not additional.
@@nicolefrancesca3199 I understand this. Getting the difference meaning a payment that will total to the amount of $2,300.
Yes you should receive the difference after you complete the last ride.

Working in Houston and Lyft barely started offering bonuses so I’m no where near your levels on return. Hopefully they offer me more bonuses.

Has to be steady.
Lyft requirements are the car cannot be more than 10 years old.
