- Review of the Deerc "PXTOYS" 9206E 1/10th 4x4 R/C Car. Not a bad car. It has good power and best of all it includes oil filled shocks, full ball bearings and a large 550 sized motor that could be easily upgraded to brushless.

Nice video. Great info! I have a PX Toys 9302 and haven't even had a chance to get it out of the box yet. Little smaller than this but hoping it runs just as good.

I just got the Hosim Racer 1:16 scale. Brushless motor. Not bad,let me tell you. And I also got the 300e. Drift concept brushless motor. Claims to hit 30 35 mph. Im not sure if that claim is true, because I can't get her to go straight. U reall havta baby the 300e out the hole. Because she has so much torque it will flip on itself. Hope u enjoy yours like I do mine

These PXtoys RC's are pretty decent, I just converted my 9204E to brushless only the other week and made a couple videos on the very easy conversion and 2S speed run & off road bash, good look at it Ryan

I have a 9206e brushless 3300kv + 60a esc. Metal motor mount, standard size 25kg servo, metal hex nuts, FlySky GT3B, beefier M3 bolts everywhere. I've got 3 of them that I use and a third for experiments.
I have this DEERC RC, received it a few days ago. My remote is not like that. Similar but missing the Steering Rate and the servo reverse controls. I also don't think I have oil filled shocks. Everything else looks the same except the batteries that are similar but have different labels and they are different colors but they are 2 cell and 1800mAh 7.4v. They don`t last very long and take FOREVER to charge with the included USB charger, I'm looking to upgrade them to longer duration batteries. The RC vehicle is loads of fun to drive that's for sure. I found it tends to get HOT really fast as well but I almost exclusively drive it on my lawn so it may be that the motor is forcing too much all the time. Overall I enjoy it.

Hey great review. Got a question. How well do you think this will do in the sand(how well would it deal with sand in where it is not supposed to be such as the motor or servo)?
I would worry about sand getting inside the brushed motor. You might be able to put a foam motor cover over it to alleviate that but that'll also make the motor run hotter. Otherwise you should be ok.
I've got the pxtoys piranha, as well as the deerc version (forget the model name offhand) upgraded both to brushless, used the pxtoys upgrade kit for the piranha, and pretty sure it stripped the gears, so food for thought, if you upgrade these to brushless checked the gears too...

We are experiencing a no steer condition on a fairly new DeerC 9206E 4wd any suggestions ? Excellent re view. The car is really awesome until this problem arose .
I'm not sure. Try new batteries in the controller. If that doesn't fix it then I would send it back to Amazon for a replacement if possible.

Yes, brushless motors are much faster and more powerful but also more expensive.
Looks cool, I especially like the idea they supply that extra body. How's the lexan quality, is it flimsy or seems okay strength?
It is very rigid and thick. Not flimsy.

Yep will be fine in the snow. It is splash proof but don't go submerging it in water.

I honestly have no clue. I know some people use red transmission oil.

I need help. I have this rc for a week and it worked fine but after the last time it stopped responding properly and now it only moves forward and backwards.

Hey in your manual whats the part number for the leds? I wanna add those to my 9200e for my sons rc if you don't mind brother

Unfortunately, the manual doesn't list or show the LED's in the parts list or exploded view. They should be the same as the lights used on most pxtoys cars such as the Piranha or the 9204 Jeep. Most light kits sold on Amazon or eBay should work though they'll likely take some modification especially to the plug to power them as most power off a 3 pin servo plug and this car uses a goofy 5 pin plug.

Not sure what weight of oil but something lightweight and make sure they are close to full but but not too full or they may not compress.

Hey, what weight of oil would you recommend for this car?
I'm not sure but likely something lightweight. I usually just use some old lightweight tamiya soft oil.

My control keeps blinking when I use is that suppose to happen?
fairly sure that means you controller batteries are low. Try replacing them with new ones.
Shocks say oil- filled but there's NO oil in these. I compared the shocks to ones that are oil-filled and it's obvious then, when you push on the shocks.
It definitely is smaller than 1:10 scale, when compared next to a true 1:10. Agree it's probably a 1:12.
Otherwise a good buy for the $.
Pxtoys often don't add enough oil to their shocks. Simple enough to open them up and add some move.

@@michaeldwaynee50105 nope 60x is fine. C rating isn't that big of a deal on cars. It'll just be a bit punchier on a higher c rating.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I just did a brushless upgrade on the 9200e and it is all metal except for a nylon spur gear.

@@BossStacks I have a Bachelor's degree. Of course going "fast" is a matter of opinion for a brushed truck this one did fine. It is fully proportional so yes, full throttle goes faster.
I bought it but it kinda sucks, the servo automatically turns to the right then when I turn it left the steering just goes straight, pretty disappointed
Can you adjust that with the steering and throttle trims?
@@RDsRCReviews it was not that, it was an actual problem with the radio, it kept sending signals to turn but I fixed it

it is advertised as 1/10th but it is really 1/12th just like the PXTOYS 9200E which is identical but advertised as 1/12th. Hope this helps!

@@RDsRCReviews But with this deal with Deerc, the price is very cheap and has alot of nice parts like the Oil filled shocks, metal support, 2 shell cover, 2 lipo battery's, 2 usb charging connectors, extra nuts and metal hexagonal tools.. compared to other cheap rc's that only has stock shocks, 1battery, 1 shell cover..
@@Quad8ightMix yep, it is the same car as the PXTOYS 9204E Jeep and the PXTOYS 9200 Piranha. They are great for those reasons you specified.
How do you oil fill it
Just open the shocks at the top and add more oil to each one. They unscrew.

I did that already. Check out my Pxtoys 9200e Piranha brushless conversion videos. It is the exact same car just different body.

Yes you could in parallel otherwise you'll be running it in series and that will fry the ESC but the extra battery is just meant to be that, an extra battery.
Oh so ur really not supposed too put to batteries in at one time
