I’ve been learning this piece for a while now, probably over half a year, I’ve been kind of inconsistent but I always play up to where I’ve learned and remembered. I just got to halfway on page 3 and am trying to get the flow down now so i can play it smoothly and this is the most beautiful piece I could have started with so thank you Eric for giving us the sheet music for this amazing piece

To me, its like Beethoven; Debussy and Ravel got together, to write a piece, that required the emotional frustration, along with beauty and rythm to convey the human palette through sound, that the physical self cannot exude, with the correct interpretation. This is a glorious piece of motive music, that gets so lost today, because ambition is rare in the reflection of true talent and the composer here is rare, in true talent, as i know very well. Just so BEAUTIFUL.

Does anybody else find this suspiciously similar to liszt consolation 3?... Same key, extremely similar chords in the same arpeggio, even the motif pattern at the end of the melody that repeats down the piano.
