To be honest it's not like military was winning anyway, if they decided to nuke entire city. John won his survival by driving through highway filled with military, zombies and super mutants.
@@petrspetsnaz630 Yeah, also those fences would handle a super muntant for only matter of second, even less a dozen of then with a hundred normal zombies backing then up. So John just did what he needed to survive and the military was doomed to fail to contain the situation

"Cars, people, and chaos, that is what I am to expect." - John Creasman. This game had good VAing. I, honestly, think it is better than the HECU from Half Life 1. Incredible, INCREDIBLE, for a flash game!
Almost everything is at peak with this game, even the technical part of it seems to be at the level of the first Doom in terms of how it was programmed.
And especially the gameplay, evil dog has made some other really creative games, there's one where you play as a blind swords man in a duel and you need to go off based on sound.

ngl when that guy in a helicopter says “This is Hellfire. I have to return.” or something I thought that he meant Hellfire as in “This is hell”, not that that’s the name of the unit.
WARNING: Lots of text Compared to the RotD 2 ost, this feels a lot less frantic, seemingly because you have an end goal in sight. Also, in RotD 2, I don't get why they just turn off the highway, they have a Humvee for Christ's sake. I get that it might be for plot convenience so that the ending was unique, but it just doesn't make sense to not follow the guy that's mowing down the infected and clearing a path. In my opinion, RotD 1 is a lot better than 2, but 2 still has some good aspects to it. In both, you get a clear picture of the military operations falling apart, but I feel this is personified in RotD 2, as you see no non-infected soldiers until the helicopter escape. I believe it would have been cooler to battle the military in a sort of "friendly fire" situation, where the military attempts to stop the Humvee from leaving due to the possibility of it carrying the virus n' stuff, it definitely would have gone along with the new gun system. I feel like RotD 2's biggest weakness is the constant stopping you have to do in order to repair your vehicle, of course, this created some nice intense moments of battling infected, but just felt wrong considering the idea of the series is to go as fast as possible. I love both games, the OSTs, the gameplay, and artstyle, I just think RotD 1 did it better. That's the end of my little rant.
