My favorite run in oregon trail 2 started at the earliest month if the earliest year and took the shortest path. I got as many horses as I could, the lightest wagon, minimum supplies, and just booked it at full speed, stopping for nothing. My survivors arrived while snow was still on the ground
This game just gives me flashbacks to a project I had to do (which was a board game version of the Oregon trail) where I pulled me first al nighter making the entire game in less than 5 hours since I had procrastinated on it lol
Reminds me of a flash game called frontier, where you're a merchant and you have to upgrade your gear and transport goods to towns where you sell it at a better price. I'd be interested in seeing you speedrun that, like, own all cities, or finish buccaneers quests or finish all police quests.

One time I was playing Oregon Trail. I was at the end, floating across, but hit a rock. I lost everything, and only one of my 4 people were still alive. Until that point, I was doing great. No diseases, lots of supplies, and everyone was healthy. I fucking hate that river

States are like their own individual countries and its almost a matter of pride for some Oregonians. I no longer live in the state but i hate when people mispronounce the name.
