It's impressive how companies like Viltrox are doing well when it comes to competing with other companies when it comes to lighting, etc. I already have a lot of lights, but, I would like more LED panel lights for the soft lighting they can provide. Great review.
Gotta say, I've been collaborating with them as well and every time they send me a new product it's better then the previous! Plus they manage to keep prices reasonable in an often inflated market.
Big fan of your consistency and overall content. If you have time, could you maybe share with me the type of poles that you have in the background that are mounted across the wall.
I pulled the trigger on a few of the smaller weeylites, to control a bunch of RBGs for a quick thematic setup. I did want to point out that the videos since you've installed the Fiveray F100s cast quite a halo blue glow on your Dougie side neck and temple (maybe a bit too forward?). The look is sharp and fine on my 4k, but if watching at lesser resolutions with youtube reductions, it seems a bit wonky from my end.
Right now I am using the MountDog softbox light kit. I was wondering if you have seen those? I am wanting to upgrade in the future to a better light, just not sure which type to go with. Something like this vs a GVM or Smallrig light....whats your 2 cents Mark?
I actually used the mount dog early in in the channel. they work pretty well, but they’re not very bright and the spill light everywhere. in my opinion, in order to see a noticeable difference, you need to get two COB lights like the Smallrig 120d with parabolic softboxes. The are more expensive and they take up a lot more room, but you’ll have very soft light that you can keep from spilling onto the background. then you can put up a panel light or two (or tube lights) in the background. my favourite setup is two Godox UL 60 (because they are silent) with two smallrig softboxes and a couple of RGB lights in the background
Do you think the Weeylite WP35 could turn a white background into a green screen? I wonder what kind of surface area it could cover. I'm thinking of a Film Riot video called "Green Screen Without a Green Screen".
it cannot be powered by usbc. but it does come with a dc cord to power and you can use the npf batteries. I actually don’t know of any panel lights that can be powered by usbc
Do you (or anyone) know if it retains the colour settings when switched off and then back on (I want to know because I'm thinking about using one as an enlarger light where the exposure duration is controlled by the power source switching on and off)?

the Viltrox / Weeylite are really doing great things these days
I will put it on my wishlist.
Already bought 2 zve10’s and a Sony 70-350 lens. I don’t think my wife allows me more this year 😁
sounds like a smart move 🤣

I'll turn it down a bit. I've also been sitting back further lately to get more products in the shot - I'll adjust!!
That's a good price. It could be very useful if you do studio work.

I need to know what are my options for budget tube rgb lights. Thanks
There are a lot. Amaran is a good place to start if you don’t have any lights

not sure - maybe with two to try to get the light even
I saw the NO BRAINER thumbnail and thought I was looking in the mirror!
You are - you've always had a square blue face
Does this charge by USC-C? I'm looking for a large, light weight light that is powered by USB-C. Can you recommend any?

$135! How is that even possible!
😀

yes - it keeps whatever setting you had last
That's great - appreciate the reply @@MarkBennettCameraCrisis
Does the barn doors come off?
Yes - you can remove the barn doors
OK I'm unsubscribing. Saw this, ordered one. Wife will go bonkers. No seriously, great review, I will order one, $60 here in China, hard to resist 😆
