I almost clicked off your video because the intro was a bit long (for me). I'm glad I didn't. VERY informative. I like it more than the promotional video LumeCube put out. I really appreciate you turning the lights off for a before and after effect. My wife got me this LumeCube for Christmas (I'm not supposed to know) and you explained very well what to expect. Thank you.
Hi Minkymott. You're not supposed to know, but somehow you already know. Hahaha. I think you're going to like this LED panel. I love the wireless capability and the accessories you can get, especially the barn doors. Also, check out my new video where I used two of these lights to photograph products using a virtual background. ruclips.net/video/D_zqTOmQoxs/видео.html Thank you for your comment on the introduction and I am glad that my video was valuable and useful to you.
@@Michelangelo.077 thank you so much for replying. I will try to keep you updated on my progress. I've never used a light panel for photography. I'm anxious to get started. I will check out your video, I'm sure it will help me.
@@Michelangelo.077 what's funny is, I put the mini panel on my Amazon Wish List. THEN, a little while later they came out with the LumeCube Pro so I put that on my wish list. I forgot to take the mini off. Guess who's getting TWO LumeCubes for Christmas....hahaha. Yeah, my wife got them both not realizing what they were. I love her.
I have the LumeCube Panel Go and is fine for on camera use...this RGB is nicer and has a much larger battery but the price is too much in my opinion...otherwise I would get it... thanks for the video...are those barn doors really useful with LED panels? but it sure looks cool!
Thanks Stanny, The list of the equipments I use for YT is in the description. Thank you @@DanWoodCoaching . Yes, on my Keyligh I'm using a 28dgree softbox at a 45degree angle. My key light is position at about 3feet distance from my face and I'm also using a white construction poster board as a fill-in light for the other side of my face. :)
Hi RT T, the light on the back is the Fositan L5000RP RGB LED. This light is no longer available on Amazon. However I listed a few alternatives below for your consideration. I was wondering if your lume cube panel pro’s power button was really loose and wiggly as well? I just got mine and it makes clicking noises while moving for video and I was wondering if this was just shotty design or if mine had a manufacture defect?
Yes mine wiggle a bit. I just noticed that. I don’t think it should be a concern unless your are holding them but for the most part I’ll be using them on a stand.
@@Michelangelo.077 Yea, I'll be using mine with movement so it's a big issue for sound recording. Also I've noticed the light doesn't stay consistent. Roughly every ten seconds (sometimes less, sometimes more) it slightly dims down or raises up in brightness.
Nah this thing is bad internally. I have two. On one the screen cracked for no reason; wasn’t even dropped. The second, the power button got pressed on while in my backpack and the battery was drained while the light was emitting 100% power in my backpack. When I touched the thing, it was like it was gonna catch on fire. The power button is a big issue with design.
wow...I have the Lumecube panel GO (non RGB) and is ok for on camera use...this larger one has a larger capacity battery but the price is too much I think...is there another light with a battery that will last 3 hours or so at 50% power? I don't see myself using it at 100% since I just need it to put a bit of light on people's faces without blinding them...! I hope the panel goes down in price! 'm dreaming I know! About your experience. I guess it gets really hot at 100% power...wow...
I came for the light review and am even more impressed with the lighting you used for the video itself.
Lol. I hear that a lot. Thanks for the comment. 😀👊🏻
Great Portable RGB Panel. The good thing about it is that you can carry it with you anywhere. Great Content!

Awesome review! I wanted to ask, what product would you recommend for a smaller tripod if using on a table?

Yes they are a bit pricey. The barn doors are actually very helpful when shooting small products. 👊🏻😀
