I was introduced to the Lume Cube Panel Mini in a video by a you tuber out of Brisbane Australia, and I thought it was pretty cool Your comparison video has just helped to convince me the Lume Cube Panel Mini will DEFINITELY be added to my growing collection of photographic accessories as soon as funds allow Thanks for a great video
SunwayFoto was the first company I recall offering these pocket leds. I actually have a few. I’m surprised there’s not a lot of reviews on them. Great review by the way. 👍🏾
exactly same happened to me with the Sokani - the minus button, the mini switch which you push which is soldered to the frame... simply broke off.... great video and I like the new camera angle :)
@@LunaScopeJustin Thanks for every useful shared information. Maybe be you can stand between 2 hidden chairs (or other objects) as a "touchable reminder" ^^
Good review, I'm buying the LC Mini based on this. Who make the small tripod stand you show every now and then?? I think they could be useful to my plans for the lights.
It comes with a small diffuser but I doubt they make an actual softbox that small.... you can probably just set it inside of a regular softbox but Im not sure if it has enough output.... or just get a pop up diffuser and put it in front of the light
LunaScope Film School True, could sit it inside a small soft box . I hope to find something that is secure. I am not a fan of homemade (tape, clamps, etc) of attaching accessories. One difficulty with this generation of small LED lights is that softboxes were made to be held onto speedlights and monolights. It’s not possible to hold a soft box onto these tiny lights. I’d love to see someone made an adapter that fits into a common softbox ring that holds a small light like this. As you said, light output is an issue. No way that it’s strong enough for a box with two diffusers.
Thanks for the review. Would you know of any lights in this form factor, other than the Aputure, that has an app which can sync/control multiple units simultaneously? Also, wondering - what lights are you using for your own setup?
The atomcube rx1 does... here is a video about more lights like these.... ruclips.net/video/FvsE52rPcV4/видео.html .....As for what I use on these vids...an Aputure 120d as a key light and 2 youngnuo yn600s to light the background
Anything I review is going to be above 95 cri....everything is high cri now so i dont see the point in mentioning it....but I will look to at least drop the number in, in the future.
@@LunaScopeJustin Is Litra Pro a good buy? I am looking for a key light that is also portable for videos, portraits and mainly kids photos and occasional macro shots. Suggest please!
SOS! SOS! SOS! Don't buy Lume if you are not in the USA!!!! They mention nowhere in their website or during the purchase that you will have to pay triple the price in taxes and VAT when the item reaches your country and will not accept return/refund!!! Total rip-off!

Thanks for the feedback!
I've watched this video like five times just for that killer guitar riff.
Great riff!!!
Dude, great video! You've got an authentic vibe and your reviews are smart and detailed. Subscribed and will be back. Thanks for the great content.
Thanks man, that means a lot!!!
I'm an Aputure MC guy right now... I just love those magnets. Good video, I'm subbin'
Thanks man! Yeah I love the MC! Everything should have magnets!
Thanks! Fun video man, I learned a couple things.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
You didn't mention the Panel Mini comes with the 1/4" mounting kit.
Thats true...good point
Great reviews. You need to STOP moving side to side when you're talking hahaha. I think I am going to buy 2 of this Lume Cube panel
Believe me...I get told that on every video...hahaha

I just bought the little tripods on amazon
Great video, down to earth and informative! thanks -
nice hot beanie !
Going to pick up a panel - thanks for the vid
Glad I could help
I'm new to all this so what would be the advantage of RGB capability?
Rgb lets u make the light any color so it just gives that light more versatility
Great video, very thorough!
Thank u
Great video bro! Think I'll pick up a Lume Cube Mini...
They are really cool little lights!!
ha. i like when he bumps into the back wall measuring lumens
Maybe the wall bumped into me? Haha
I’m a figure photographer and which light should I go with. I’m thinking the mini
If u look on my channel there are a bunch of small light comparisons, take a look at the vitopal r20 and the cheaper version, also the pixel gs
I'm somewhat puzzled at the RGB importance. When I need tungsten and get it on either, what difference does it make?
Sometimes you want a colored accent in your framing...its nice to have options
@@LunaScopeJustin Thank You.
How about a good soft box option for the Lume Cube mini panel?

The manufacturer states this light weighs 3 ounces.
Thanks
Next time mention CRI numbers, to me that is more important than brightness.

Subscribed! Need help! Have you tried Litra pro?
Yeah...I have another video on those kinds of lights
@@LunaScopeJustin Does the video compare litra pro with others as well?
Yeah...it compares it to lume cube products.... there is a lot of light comparisons on my channel

Why would you need a RGB?
To add color to your frame
great video
Thanks
dude, love your videos but you moving side to side is suuuuuuper distracting, just plant your feet in there and don't move hahaha
Its a nervous tick, Im working on it, believe me its the most brought up thing on this channel

Not a single comment about CRI
Because they are all higher than 95+
