    I am now using the Avast Marine Works Mutiny Ozone reactor v2.1. It has been running for about 8 months and is working perfectly. It has a carbon postfilter built in and works well. My tank is a Red Sea 3XL 900, and the water is crystal clear all the time.

    Thanks for the video. Which ozone generator would you recommend for a 40 gallon set up? Would 15mg/ hour be enough, it seems like most of them would be overkill...any advice?

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  23 дня назад

      A tiny one would be plenty.. I have only used on 100G plus tanks.. I dont think the clarity would be overly noticeable in the smaller tank but it would help with organics and odors. (or just use carbo) If your going to do it a small one should be good as i would guess you would use closer to 10-20mg on that size as i use 30-40% on the dial of 200mg (so 60-80) on my 200g tank.

    Thanks for the video. One question though. If we have recirculating skimmer setup with scrub media, connected as you have it, the input of the skimmer air is let's say 1000lt, so the output bubbles of the skimmer should be 1000lt of air. Where does the ozone inputs in that circuit? I believe it does not. And if it does, I cannot see how, it has to exit somewhere... I hope my question is understandable as I expressed it. Thanks again.

      I tap into the air line going to the Venturi so the suction draws it in

      @ahrondinar8782, are you using an ozone reactor if you are what brand is it. I have been trying to find one, but the only ones in the market cost 3 to 3 times more than what a generator costs.

    Do you think it would run good if I ran the inlet line outside? Asking because my fish room is pretty humid

    • @ReefDudes

      That would certainly improve the efficiency (as long as its not super humid outside too!)

    • @ReefDudes

    What is your recommended ORP? I can't seem to break the 300 mark. Water looks clear. White bucket test later today. Using the Amazon generator you had before. Any tips on that unit? It is running through desiccant beads to keep it dry.
