    Here, carbon carbon single bond rotation give both anti as well as syn for a given corbonyl structure. So this trick can work all the time

    What will be the stereochemistry of the product if the alpha carbon has not three different groups(large,small,medium) that is if two groups are similar?

    In case of ethyl group we should change the stereochemistry of all H ,OH and ethyl group this concept not clear why the stereochemistry change only in this case

    Sir please tell me if large group is happen to be in above or below the plane it will be syn or anti to the carbonyl group

      since it is a single bond thus bond rotation is possible and we can bring the large group on the plane apply the rule. I think so

      U can rotate. In this can of chairal centre and large grp syn of carbonyl center. Then attack the nuphile and last tha product chairal conter is remain as before rotation

    What is the difference!
    In Felkin-Anh or Cram's rule, we draw compound in Newman projection formulae, here u are drawing in flying-wedge!!
    And your ans is right for a wrong reason!
