I have a similar valve on my Bombard Aerotec that has a very slow leak (I have to to top it up like every 2 days or so, an one of the 3 valves is "hissing" louder than the other two. Is this a reason to replace the seal? Or should I just tighten something? Maybe replace the O-ring of the cap/ Or is it normal to have to top it up every couple of days? (I had a Zodiac cadet with a different type of recessed valve where the cap was more like protection instead of additional seal, and the tubes on that one held air indefinitely, so I'm not sure if it should be the case in this one or this old valve design is leaking a bit by default)

These tube of valves are terrible my advise, they will never hold air properly, best option is you replace cap seals. Or replace entire valves
@@ribfix558 thank you for the advice! are they easy to completely replace with some other type of valve that is more modern?
