2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

When I cook baked/ Jacket potatoes I put metal kebab sticks through them when cooking. The cooking time is halved as the metal cooks the inside so much quicker.
RIP Dove. She was a gorgeous looking cat.

It’s hard to believe that Kyle didn’t have a role model because he is such a caring father and husband. Happy Birthday, Kyle! 🎉 As a veterinary assistant, losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers are with your sister and her family. Try soaking your dress in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes for that stain. 🥰🦋
I’m sorry for your families loss of sweet kitty Dove. For those of us who did not have children, our fur babies are a blessing, and it sounds like Dove was a special part of all of your lives. 🙏🏻💜. I had so much fun watching Kyle‘s enthusiasm about everything surrounding his birthday, but honestly, the most precious moment was watching him playing Mario kart with his kids. I have been a video game person my entire life and I am old …lol! Happy Birthday Kyle 🎂🎂💜💜
So agree with you Debra Davis.Our fur babies are our babies.We were not blessed with children but we were blessed with our beautiful furbabies.Zoe our cat, will be 20 years old in May, our dog Piper is 8 yrs old.They truly are a gift from God.❤❤❤

I can't imagine having over 250 surgeries. You are a trooper. I also have a chronic illness and had ~40 surgeries. You are amazing. Hang in there.
I have a lot of chronic and acute illnesses with disability but very few surgeries. God bless you both. I hope neither of you have a need for more surgeries. May God bless you and keep you. Jenny is so greatly missed ❤😢
Kyle, daily he has proven he is not just a great father and husband but an absolute amazing person. It’s awful losing an animal I lost one of my kittys three months ago it’s just heart breaking.

It's true. Animals have a sixth sense in detecting when a human is upset and/or in pain. My kitty would sit next to me on the couch when I was sad and crying, and she would devotedly lick my hand until it was almost "raw". 😥 It was as if she was saying to me, "Don't cry Mommy! I'm here! It's okay!". So sweet. 😔

To speed up the jacket potato process I've started microwaving mine first to part cook them and then pop them in the oven :-)
Yes and just put in oven for 5mins to crisp up.
Coat them in olive oil for crispy, tasty potatoes, and, bake directly on the oven rack🤗

Oh, goodbye Dove! What a sweet kitty, and a comforting memory of a stressful night you have, all because of that sweet soul. Dove knew she is loved and important. I’m a nurse, peroxide gets blood out! Pour it full strength on the spot and let it bubble. Wash and dry like normal. Just test a spot that won’t show, sometimes it can bleach fabric.
Rest in peace Dove. So sad. Kyle is so special indeed. X

Jenny, poke holes in your potatoes then bake them, the heat gets in there to help them cook..
Or cut them in half and wrap them in foil and them bake them.. it keeps the heat in .
Sorry to here about the beloved cat of your sisters, I know what is like losing a pet, part of the family..

Hi Jenny! I started to cry when you talked about Hope having to leave this earth. Our pets know us and they show us a deep sense of unconditional love. I have a rescued Pit Bull, Cooper, and he has pulled me out of some devastatingly dark days. My struggle is not with cancer, but has been a life long battle with depression. Watching your beautiful family grow and move through this cancer journey is so and heartwrenching and amazingly heroic. You have such courage, as does your beloved Kyle. You move through the world with kindness and tenderness and I just love all of you. I don't know why I felt the need to talk about my depression and my dog, but I feel you are the kind of person who is a beautiful listener and a friend. I am not religious, but I do send you much love, healing, and hope.

Baked potatoes poke holes in potatoes using a fork, then wrap them in tin foil. Cook for 1hr on 400 degrees. After 1 hr, check potatoes by squeezing them. When they are done, they will feel soft. If they still feel hard, cook for another 15 min or so until they feel soft. Hope this helps

Watching the sweet children with their mother and everything being so normal, knowing this was only mere months ago, and now Jenny is gone. It just feels so wrong 😔

Hi Jenny - I’m emotional here in the Uk just listening to you. Pets are family. I rescued my little Jack Russell (Alfie) 9 years ago and he rescued me right back so many times.
You are so intuitive and sensitive to all of your loved ones. I love that you wrapped Kyles presents in the crumpled gift bags and the children’s excitement watching him open them.

My late girl, Sox, died at 17, of cancer, in 2002. She was literally like my daughter. I miss her, always. My new love, Babette, a Siamese mix, is four now, came to me at four months old. I love her as much as my late girl, just differently 💕🐱

@@marciajones2993 I’ve got my Max, a part lab, Heinz 57 mix, that I’ve had since he was 4 or 5 weeks old, rescued. He may be 16 but he is still my security, and loves cats. I dread the day his turn comes. He’s my fur baby. Hopefully, when the time is right for you, you’ll find another companion. Good luck to you.

Happy Birthday to Kyle🎉…I can relate about the loss of Dove 🥲…on January 23 of this year I had to put my beautiful, love of my life, pug Stella to sleep after 16 1/2 yrs…I’m totally devastated and 5 days later the crying and pain hasn’t stopped…our fur babies are family…the loss is hard. 💔🐾😢🙏🏻. Oh Jenny, it's never "just a cat." I'm so sorry about the loss of dear Dove. They truly are family members. We lost our beloved cat daughter, Sox, to cancer, in 2002. She was 17. I will miss her for the rest of my life. I have a new love now, Babette, a Siamese mix. She's four, adopted her at four months old. I love her as much, just differently. We grieve our fur baby kitties and doggos just as much as we do our beloved human family.
Oh, how well I remember my very heavy monthly 'friend,' Jenny. One of many reasons I love menopause!

I was laying on the couch crying, he was sitting on top of the couch, all of a sudden he put his sweet paw on my head. I know he was comforting me. He passed away at 18 years old. They are family!❤ Take care, love you all!🙏❤❤❤❤
I truly believe that animals can sense when something is wrong. whether it be illness or injury or emotional distress they can sense it. ❤

I always bake my potatoes in foil with a little olive oil and course salt. I think the foil holds the heat in and bakes them faster

Dove was gorgeous! We just lost my moms cat Sammy and have lost many before him and it is such horrible pain to lose them. Animals can be sooo wonderful!

Hydrogen peroxide works on blood stains. You have to put it on and rub and rinse and usually repeat maybe even several times but it works. Prayers for you. ♥️ sorry for the loss of Dove - love the name ♥️

My gosh , RIP Dove !! Dove looks exactly like my cat Cooper ! And he is since late December I'll! His breathing is not normal his nose is full of slime ,we been to the vet several times 3 injections 4 antibiotics cures and even now pretnison !! I had sutch a hard time in the beginning I have him for 11 years not ever been I'll and suddenly this !! I know what it is short of breath, and to see your cat struggle is horrible !! He is so sweet and we love him so mutch !! I don't know how long he can hold on!! Thursday another vetvisit ! A prayer for me and Cooper would help !! Pets are like family, and losing them can be as painful as losing a loved one. My cat died suddenly on me last year and was gone within hours and it was very traumatic. He was with me for so many life changes. Love to you, your sister and Dove ❤
