Here's a list from this video I managed to write down: 100% Glycerin Undefined Coconut oil (make sure this isnt cooking coconut oil) Extra Virgin Olive Oil Nourish Spa Conditioner Aussie 3 Minute Deep Conditioner Devacurl Ultra Defining Gel Denman Brush Diffuser Attachment Blow Dryer Attachment Enjoy everyone!
I'm the girl who had the personal convo with you on Instagram a few weeks ago (Jessica is my name). Thank you so much, jade. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to speak with me. It really helped me at a deep point in my life. God bless you!
Eco styler gel, garnier frutctis sleek & shine leave in conditioner, coconut oil, castor oil, edens body works natural pudding scuffle, Aussie moist conditioner! All under $8 & work so well
Awesome video! I have used most of the products mentioned and they have definitely been loyal to the game. I'll have to try out that nourish spa conditioner from Trader Joes. My favorites under $10 would have to be raw shea butter - $8.99, Trader Joes - Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and Conditioner - $3.99 each, Tresemme Naturals Conditioner - $4.99, Cantu Repair leave In conditioner- $6.00, Peppermint Oil - varies, Rosemary Oil - varies, Shea Moisture - Curl Enhancing Smoothie - $9.99 - varies on the retailer, - SheaMoisture Moisture Retention Shampoo Raw Shea Butter with Sea Kelp and Argan Oil - $9.99 varies on the retailer. And a new one I just discovered, Ion Color Defense Intense Moisture - $7.99 I looooooove this stuff...and forget perm rods from Sally's---they will save a natural's life!!!!!!! Or any life for that matter. Thank you for allowing us to share with you our favorites as well, Jade!
Omg your channel is my new favorite channel! I am uploading a new curly hair journey video AS WE SPEAK and seeing your hair makes me so excited for my journey! I've never used some of these products so I'm going to have to check them out. $2.99 for that Trader Joes conditioner is amazing!
Definitely the Goody - Ouchless brush!!! My hair was breaking like crazy from using other brushes and this one has made a big improvement in my life at least 60% less breakage!!!!! I swear by it, it is $8-9 at Walmart... I may try your brush AFTER I use "Ouchless" to detangle so I can move the product around. Definitely need to do deep conditioners more often. Thank you!
A line that I like to use when I feel like being cheap is OGX Hydrate and DeFrizz Kukui Oil (the black bottle) conditioner. It really helps with moisture and it smells awesome!! It's like $8 at Walgreen's. Good for girls like me who live in south Florida or other tropical places with a lot of humidity :)
Awesome video! Love your energy, I totally learned a whole lot from this! I just big chopped and I feel like my hair has been soooo dry. I'm totally going to invest in some glycerin and try to incorporate some heat into my deep conditioning treatments! Thank you so much! 💕
Afro lyssa that's amount is ridiculous I would say try finding a regular joe trynna make extra money to buy it for u, find the cheapest shipping, and pay a little extra for them going out their way. Hopefully that cuts that cost in half or even less than that
Great video! I have a metal Afro pick but I want a plastic one because I think it will be gentle on my fine strands. My mom has a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, and I love it! Where did you get that Denman brush, Jade?
I've heard of Bumble and Bumble but still haven't tried their products yet. Not sure why! I'll have to look into that soon! I love trying new products. :)
Aussie 3 minute miracle moist and Cantu shea butter leave in conditioner are one of my favorite hair products! Wet brush-pro is the best detangler brush I used :)
Hey! I LOVE your curls! I can't seem to find a regimen that will maintain the glossy, healthy and curly look. I also am looking to nurture my scalp to promote hair growth. What products do you recommend someone who is trying to be consistent in their regimen?
+LipsticknCurls. I forgot to mention I just cut my hair and now I can't pineapple for awhile so I just got a satin slumber bonnet from Harmon's Beauty supply to help keep my curls from drying out and frizzying up, and to stop my kitty from chewing on my hair lol, can't wait til my hair grows back! Lol
I've heard a lot of curly girls on RUclips talk about Aussie but when I read the back there was silicone in it and I thought curly girls are supposed to stay away from silicones
The LA Looks sports gel is good and affordable is under 10 dollars is the blue one it has good hold and mixes well with other products and is also curly girl method friendly
I agree, Eco styler gel does NOT play well with other products well, such as cantu and eden bodyworks. Thank u for mentioning that because u don't hear that a lot, but it's true.
Hi I loved ur video I'm going to buy some products u suggested. I have never really put attention to my curls. do you use all these products at the same time or do you use them one every day of the week I'm talking about the glycerin olive oil and coconut oil Aussie deep conditioner? thanks hope u can answer :)
What should someone do about extremely dry and brittle hair after a dying episode? I am more of a lazy naturalist but I definitely should have upped my game more when I decided to dye my hair for the first (and my last) time 2 years ago around thanksgiving. Being a simple naturalist worked fine for me since I was a little girl but we all know that once you begin ANY manipulation towards your hair, it's time to go to work. Well, I knew nothing about what dying really does to your hair (and I didn't even bleach it first! The outcome was beautiful; the salon did a really good job). I definitely take responsibility for how my hair ended up a few months later. I lost my natural curl pattern and rely on twist outs to give something resembling cute curly styles. Also, my hair is extremely dry and gets matted easily, thus it's harder for me to comb through it after washing once every 2 weeks (a routine I've always done). A friend of mine (who is white with bone straight hair) also died her long hair but she had it bleached first because she's a dark brunette like myself, and she recently chopped off ALL of the died portion (up to her scalp on one side) because her hair experienced dryness and was EXTREMELY matted she said. I reeeaaallly do not want to chop off my hair as it is really long...and I'm just not prepared for that ish >_< haha
+LipsticknCurls YES, thank you for this video Jade!! I practically live at Target lol and I always buy the coconut oil which definitely helps my hair, nails and eyelashes grow and has replaced my body lotion, the olive oil and Aussie Moist conditioner. I had mixed feelings about the silicones in Aussie but my curls LOVE it. And I realized that not using my diffuser for years was missing from my routine so, I just purchased a new blow dryer with a diffuser and I definitely have to try the brush and pick though, thank you again.😘😘
What about living in NY in winter, glycerin may not be a good idea. It's to dry here that it may make hair more dry and draw the moisture away from the hair.
I find that when I use less product, I don't get the flakes with Eco Styler. You don't need to coat your hair in product so that it oozes out and is basically too much.
There are 2 products that I can't live without. Curl Keeper Original (get the 3.4oz to be under $10) added to Shea Moisture's Curl & Style Milk. Oddly enough I had both items for months and was kind of meh about them until one day I combined them. My curls are shiny, bouncy, much less frizzy, and I can get 3 days from a wash n go.
Okay Jade (or anyone out there :) ) that knows the answer, what is the difference between a Denman brush and a regular paddle brush? Does one make a wash and go look differently than the other, thanks in advance :)
I feel you. Everyone is always preaching how coconut oil is the holy grail, but honestly it does nothing to my hair but make it feel dry and greasy no matter if I put it on wet , damp or dry hair. However my hair loves olive oil coconut.
I have the same issue as well, so usually I air dry my hair even tho it's a pain when you are in a rush... other hair vloggers like moknowshair says that you should let your hair product sit in for 30mins to absorb & then diffuse. Also use low heat and finish with cool shot to lock in moisture.
DevaCurl has a diffuser attachment that's shaped like a hand. I believe that the shape of it is supposed to help prevent frizziness. I haven't tried it just yet, but I do plan on purchasing one! Also, try using a microfiber towel (or for a cheaper option) a cotton t-shirt that you already own to "towel-dry" you hair. Those materials better help to prevent/reduce frizziness and they will also help to soak up excess water and product from your hair- which should then help to speed up the air drying process! :)
Here's a list from this video I managed to write down:
100% Glycerin

Eco styler gel, garnier frutctis sleek & shine leave in conditioner, coconut oil, castor oil, edens body works natural pudding scuffle, Aussie moist conditioner! All under $8 & work so well
Tjmaxx and Marshalls have deman brushes for like $5.99! I'm obsessed with them as well.

I definitely need like 3 ok maybe 4 of those products. Especially the Denman brush.
Definitely the Goody - Ouchless brush!!! My hair was breaking like crazy from using other brushes and this one has made a big improvement in my life at least 60% less breakage!!!!!

Yessss for the hooded dryer attachment ! Just purchased one after being natural for 4.5 years , where have I been ?!
Yes! Aussie Conditioners are life 🙌🏽
Awesome video! Love your energy, I totally learned a whole lot from this! I just big chopped and I feel like my hair has been soooo dry. I'm totally going to invest in some glycerin and try to incorporate some heat into my deep conditioning treatments! Thank you so much! 💕
Y'all are so lucky over there in the States. Over here in Barbados, the CHEAPEST to can get unrefined/refined coconut oil is $50!
:o
Can you order it online cheaper, or is the shipping a lot?
Afro lyssa girl u better find a plug in the states lol
Fr, because that's downright ridiculous
Afro lyssa that's amount is ridiculous I would say try finding a regular joe trynna make extra money to buy it for u, find the cheapest shipping, and pay a little extra for them going out their way. Hopefully that cuts that cost in half or even less than that
Hair & face goals😍
I used nourish spa years ago, such a great and inexpensive product
Try La Bella curl gel...no flakes. It's at walmart and target for less than $3! Best kept secret
Deff needed all of this because I just ran out of all my curl stuff and was hesitant to buy more!!
Learned a lot! Thank you! I'm now forwarding this to my two sisters and BBF!

Girl ☝🏾️ you're video qualityyyyyyyyyyy is soooo BOMBBBBBBB
have you ever tried grapeseed oil, I heard it's really good for curly hair.
Yeah my hair loves that stuff. I use it to seal
I love using Grapeseed Oil! It's a really nice lightweight oil!
Great video! I have a metal Afro pick but I want a plastic one because I think it will be gentle on my fine strands. My mom has a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, and I love it! Where did you get that Denman brush, Jade?
Yay I have all of these! Have not tried the glycerin in my deep conditioner tho, going to give that a try
THE BEST gel is Bumble and Bumble gel oil....OMG, I love it.
I've heard of Bumble and Bumble but still haven't tried their products yet. Not sure why! I'll have to look into that soon! I love trying new products. :)
Coconut oil is my favorite of the whole list!!😀
Aussie 3 minute miracle moist and Cantu shea butter leave in conditioner are one of my favorite hair products! Wet brush-pro is the best detangler brush I used :)

cantu curly custard is great and under $10 ...I usually use it with coconut oil. a cream could cause flakes..but it is so amazing

Hey! I LOVE your curls! I can't seem to find a regimen that will maintain the glossy, healthy and curly look. I also am looking to nurture my scalp to promote hair growth. What products do you recommend someone who is trying to be consistent in their regimen?

Lol
I've heard a lot of curly girls on RUclips talk about Aussie but when I read the back there was silicone in it and I thought curly girls are supposed to stay away from silicones
See that's why I'm so confused now. So it's ok to use certain silicones ? I recently purchased the devacurl delight it makes my look and feel amazing!
Well it's all working cus your curls are bomb I need to get on this my curls need some love😭
I love deep conditioning with Aussie Moist Conditioner😭💗💗
The LA Looks sports gel is good and affordable is under 10 dollars is the blue one it has good hold and mixes well with other products and is also curly girl method friendly
I have the same problem with my ecostyler gel. Will look into the devacurl gel. 😀
Yess i love coconut oil but i use the one u cook with bc its rlly natural 😛and everyones always saying "😀your hair smells like coconut ❤"
Try to use Nivea cream the blue one on your hair it sounds weird but definitely you will like it🤗
I can't she so pretty 😍😍
CURLS brand botanical Gel is a good gel as well Target carries it! Probably about $7-10? I can't remember the exact price
+Brittani Young Yes, I love that too, always use it on wash and go's; you can also get it at Sally's Beauty Supply and I think now Walmart too
If you use the Eco styler gel in argan oil, it's less flaky
I'll have to try that one! I always use the "Olive Oil". Thanks for pointing that out!
Very helpful video - thanks for telling me about it! :D
You should try flax seed gel. It's like dirt cheap. And u can make tons of it.
Does Organic Coconut oil works as well? Thank u so much for the tips btw!! 😄😄
Organic Coconut Oil is the only kind of coconut oil that I use! I definitely believe it's better!
IDK why I just love her...aaaannnnd subsribed
how often should you deep condition for it to actually work?
+Joslynn Johnson once a week!
Thank you so much! ☺
I agree, Eco styler gel does NOT play well with other products well, such as cantu and eden bodyworks. Thank u for mentioning that because u don't hear that a lot, but it's true.

Thanks I was about to throw away the glycerin because I bought it to make facial and never used it. I can use it now.
omg 3 $ for Aussie deep conditioners? ! in Sweden the bottle cost 13 $😧😦
Expensive as heck here in Canada too
+Adrianna D it's such a shame 😡 everything she showed is over 10$ here
+Adrianna D I can't find them here! :(
+Adrianna D in Canada it's about 4$
+Esiri Eya'ufe in germany is everything expensive😢 the line shea moisture is here soooo extremly expensive and aussi too.
as I am coconut cowash cleansing conditioner is my favorite. it's $6.55 online. not in stores lol

Very informative. Great video

IMO I feel like the Felicia Leatherwood brush is way better than the denman. It does a superior job with detangling and clumping curls.
If you could list the products in the description box and where you got them from that would be great. I like to screenshot the lists :)
I couldn't concentrate because of the music lol
Shea Moistures is life
i love the shape of your hairstyle. have u done a haircut video?
Wide tooth comb!!
Loved the video... Loads of info!!
I love your hair😭
thanks jade great tips. do u have to do hot oil treatments?
Trader Joe's is also Aldi if you can't find Trader Joe in your area. Just FYI. Nice video.
Can u please do an updated video on this subject.. Curly hair products under $10... TIA
I LOVE ❤️😻👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽ur hair SO much
I have the same exact hair type but i don't have lots of volume which sucks
There are 2 products that I can't live without. Curl Keeper Original (get the 3.4oz to be under $10) added to Shea Moisture's Curl & Style Milk. Hey Gorgeous, where did you purchase your hooded dryer ftom?
Can you do a DIY video on making your own deep conditioner? I didn't even know you could do that lol
Love this, thank you💓
Okay Jade (or anyone out there :) ) that knows the answer, what is the difference between a Denman brush and a regular paddle brush? Does one make a wash and go look differently than the other, thanks in advance :)
Under $10 in the US of course. The $2.99 Trader Joe's conditioner cost $30 in New Zealand (incl shipping) - :(
I can't even find Trader Joe's in Canada 😥
+Rachael M there's no trader Joe's in Canada
I hate the Trader joe tea tree conditioner have 2 bottles just sitting in closest.
I hate the Trader joe tea tree conditioner have 2 bottles just sitting in closest.
The Curly Mommy give it to someone😊
Someone might have asked this already but do you find that the denman brush gives you single strand knots?
Hi! Thank you for your products recommendations! Do the Aussie moist conditioners have water soluble silicones?
Thank you in advance!
your hair is beautiful
You're so beautiful!!! Brazil loves your channel
Where did you get your blow dryer detachment? Thers some I see at Sally's but they don't look big enough. Thank you!
Loved you video 💜
Great video but my hair does not lk coconut oil. I would put a small amount. It will make my hair dried but I am glad that it is working for you.
I feel you. Everyone is always preaching how coconut oil is the holy grail, but honestly it does nothing to my hair but make it feel dry and greasy no matter if I put it on wet , damp or dry hair. However my hair loves olive oil coconut.
@@SmoothOpe_ Glycerin is another products dries out my hair. Be careful about oliver oil and castro oil. It makes my scalp itch
I've tried using diffusers but they just make my hair frizz a lot so I just end up air drying . Maybe I'm just doing it wrong
