Thanks for sharing. Color scheme was interesting for 81. My parents had a TOL Concept in blue. It was heavy even with self propelled. My thoughts are Hoover should have perfected the Dial-a-matic, much easier to use, tool conversion, direct air, etc. I detested using the Concept when I was a kid/teenager. 😂
@@bribrimc73 oh definitely! I love the Dial-A-Matic and wish they’d continued it longer and maybe even in this color scheme :) thank you so much for watching!
I had a Concept One that I bought in the early 1990s that lasted for about a decade and I lied it very much. It was self propelled and felt very robust however twice I needed to have the switchgear atop the handle replaced because the plastics separated but other than that it was a decent machine.
I have the U3101 as a first gen representative, but the rest of my Concept One's are all 2nd gen ones (U4219 and U3335 respectively). I would like to find a U4201 though.
@@graysonsvacsandmowers5426 oh that’s awesome! Those U4201 machines are still out there, just a little harder to find. Thank you for sharing and thank you so much for watching!
My favorite series from Hoover and one of Hoover's best!
@@YoumuHoover most definitely! Thank you so much for watching!
Cool guy with a cool collection!
@@inthezone4123 thank you so much! It’s a very interesting set of machines! Thank you again for watching!
