In Belize we have had pretty much constant rain, down south are getting heavier rain than on the western side. Feels kind of chilly but praying for the rains to ease off. Thank you very much Brian

Our area has somewhat cooled down, sporadic showers, nothing major. Grateful the Lord has spared our island for another year. The close by earthshakes is a bit concerning and brings to mind the the earthquake of Jan 7th, 2020. Prayers going out for all the sister islands affected by the floodings. It's almost always the least affluent , who usually suffer the most, so as the children and the elderly. May the Lord protect them all.

Today in Belize City it is cloudy, cool and we had and continue to have instances of showers. Excess rainfall has been reported offshore and over Central and Northern coastal areas of Belize. Lingering unstable atmospheric conditions will support mostly cloudy skies today and tonight. The forecast for today is for periods of rain and some showers and isolated thunderstorms countrywide and particularly along the coastal areas and offshore. Average high temperatures will be 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 78 degrees Fahrenheit over inland areas and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight's low temperatures will be 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees Fahrenheit over inland areas and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Good afternoon Brian, happy Wednesday. The rain continued throughout the night, however the sun came out for a couple of hours this morning. Now it's cloudy and the rain continues to pour down, not very hard though. There are some areas with water but not real flooding in my area as yet, I am sure the city is experiencing some flooding. The temperature at the moment is a cool 75°, very thankful for that. I can't imagine a named system at this time, but I know to expect the unexpected. Thank you for always keeping us updated.
