I am astonished to why people get so irate about the music in these videos, I think you're somewhat missing the point here. Now.. to the car itself.
I'm a purest fan, I like to see these Mk1's in totally original guise, with the small 13 or 14" wheels on it. That's just me, that's my preference. I'm not a fan of having it lowered, larger wheels on etc; but each to their own.
This example looks like a great deal of hard work and effort was put in.
