The "That man isn't wearing any clothes-" line is actually a reference to the old fable/parable "the emporer's new clothes", where some tricksters convince the king and his advisors that they're making him a suit from thread that can only be seen by people who are worthy for their positions, and proceed to put an imaginary suit on him before sending him out naked, and all the adults were convinced on the whole "you can't see it if you're not worthy" thing, they didn't want to mention it because of the possible consequences, until a child says "hey, the king doesn't have any clothes-" and everyone realizes what must've happened.
Ferb's VA was one of my first tv crushes when he was in Nanny McPhee, and then so was Ferb, and when I found out he voiced him I was ecstatic. You better believe I'm gonna watch this whole thing! I'm so excited for the new seasons.

It's safe to assume that because Phineas and Ferb are about the same age but Phineas is American, they're stepchildren. It's explained in the video that it was likely a result of Ferb moving when he was young. If they (Phineas and Ferb) do realize that they're stepchildren, they don't care at all.
I once saw a thing saying that Phineas is an ADHD addled idea guy who's always got a new idea, and Ferb is an autistic engineer who takes Phineas' idea and hyper fixates until it's done. If Ferb wanted to do something else, he would, but in the mean time, Phineas has an idea that sounds interesting

The joke as a whole tho is a critisism of higher ups in offices who are being compare here with the King who everyone tells how beautiful he looks despite him not wearing any clothes.

As another person rightly pointed out, platypuses are not the only mammals that lay eggs. They are monotremes, alone with the five species of echidnas (spiny anteaters) that are also egg laying mammals

If Ferb were smelling lava, that would mean the volcano was erupting. I don't think that would bode well for their volcanic hotspot vacation.
I put the "I only say one line per day" in S-Tier as well, but moreso for the fact that it's just PURE SASS.
Somebody should make a video on every Ferb line on his list in order from worst to best.

You complained that they didn't destroy the molecular separator, but in the episode you were talking about they had just re-built the molecular separator to separate Candace and Jeremy. So they actually did get rid of it the first time.
