@@KarenlovesLAGPR I’m an Alabama girl too and don’t say it that way. I wonder if it depends on the area you’re from? I was born & raised in Jefferson County but my family moved to Shelby county in 2007. So I’ve been near Bham most of my life.
Marilyn Monroe used to use Vaseline on her entire body including her face I use it as a highlight, on my brows, lips etc it's so versatile and has never broken me out
I love that you are one of the very few og RUclips beauty creators who keep on uploading videos in a consistent way, and also you have expanded your content with vlogs, life style, cooking, fashion, decoration, etc. You are the best!!
The best way to avoid the issue on the last DIY is to pull the tape squares off while the paint is still wet, and use a pair of old tweezers to pull them off ❤
I been doing the first hack for over 10 years lol I do it with sunscreen also. I don't like the way foundation looks on my skin so I learn to adapt to what I can use
Just fyi Vaseline is actually the best thing you can put on your face. It will not clog your pores trust me or research it. Most people who have used it like myself don’t experience break outs. Probably not best for oily ppl tho. But it’s such a good anti aging agent too.
I’ve been doing the moisturizer thing with my foundation for yearssss, I’ve never found an actual bb cream I like so it just sheers out anything…such a good hack ❤
Hey Laura! Thank you for always posting the best videos. ✨✨✨ This was really fun! I can’t wait to try these DIYS/ hacks. Love you Laura 😻😽😽😻 TreadUp is amazing! I love shopping from there. Your BFF is being a goof and asking his subscribers for home decor stores and ideas to decorate his house. I told him he’s crazy, he has Laura! The actual Queen of home decorating and organizing! A few of us asked him to do a video on it. Sending prayers and love to you, Ty, Eryn, Yoshi, Lou, Peach and Boo
I used to use the foundation+ moisturiser= bb cream all the time as a young teenager as I found it difficult to find a drugstore foundation pale enough for me and couldn't afford the ones that were; I found that the moisturiser lightened foundation that was a bit too dark for me and made it wearable, plus worked out cheaper than the ONLY drugstore foundation that was both my shade and accessible to me at the time; a tub of 'Nivea Soft' (my grandma always used this so it was my first moisturiser and worked out fairly cheap considering you can use it EVERYWHERE) at £4.50 for 500ml (about 16oz) and a tube of £1.99 foundation was one heck of a sight cheaper than the £15 foundation that was the only shade that matched me that I had access to. Worked pretty well until I was able to access a cheaper foundation that actually matched me. Funnily enough, people are now saying that Nivea Creame (a more intense version of Nivea Soft), or Nivea Soft is a dupe of Creame de la Mer. Even if it lacks the antioxidents of Creame de la Mer; a 500ml jar of La Mer is over £1000 and a 500ml tub of Nivea Soft is £5.10 at present, with Nivea Creame £4 for 400ml so if that's true its one hell of a saving and our grannies who swore by it were right!! I've used primer to make cream blush/ liquid lipstick before to use up powder blushes, same with using eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow to create cream shadow, it can also work to create cream highlighter if you don't like using Vaseline since when I tried using Vaseline I found it didn't sit very well over my make-up.
I’ve been doing the foundation and moisturizer thing for a while now. I don’t like how heavy/unbreathable foundation is. Doing this gives great coverage and feels like a BB cream.
Heads up to anyone who needs this for crisp af tape lines. If you paint with the background colour first it seals the tape then do the accent colour over top. 100% works every time xxx
That was such a fun video. I learned so many awesome hacks that I'm definitely going to try. I wouldn't be too concerned about the Vaseline on your skin because there's something called slugging that a lot of people do at night to keep the moisture in your skin, unless you're very prone to breaking out, then you may have a problem. The bunny turned out so stinking cute though.
I learned to do the bunny hack with a wash cloth but when you begin rolling you put ice cubes in and it becomes a cute little “boo boo bunny” for kids and it acts as an ice pack
That cocoa butter oil, without the highlight is EVERYTHING. Smells great and makes your skin so soft. Maybe if you put A LOT more highlight in it, it would show up better but the oil on its own is 10/10. Paper towels work for the bunnies too. We made one for each family member (4) and we put them out as Easter decor. 🐰 The checkered pot/bowl looks like a fun home decor diy. Gonna have to try it with my daughter, niece and her boyfriend.
I would take a little empty bottle and fill it with the oil and then put highlighter in it. I think the oil bottle is to big. Or you have to put the hole bottle of highlighter in it. 😊
Tbh is mixing different makeup & skincare a diy? Foundation + moisturizer is the most obvious one, but like serum + blush = cream blush, moisturizer + highlighter = cream highlighter (not sticky like Vaseline), lip balm + blush/eyeshadow = lipstick, eyeshadow + micellar water = liquid liner... List goes on 🤷🏼♀️
Been doing the "BB Cream" thing for a long time, the trick is to make sure BOTH your moisturizer and foundation are compatible (i.e; they are both silicone based, or water based) otherwise it will separate on your skin :)
When u use hot glue for the plate and bowl thing, when u are done using it and wanna change it up...u can easily pull them apart and peel of the glue easily and reuse those dishes! 🙌 also be careful cuz it can come apart easy too so just fyi. If u use the e6000 glue, thats it. No reusing! 😁🙌
So you wreck a perfectly fine powder highlighter mix it with vaseline to end up with a product that looks like it won't last as long at the orignial pallet. I would also wonder what it would be like long term, will it dry out or separate?
Does anyone else just absolutely love the way Laura says oil? lol I just love her little accent when she says it 😍
@@KarenlovesLAGPR I was literally about to comment that's it's an Alabama thing. I say it that way too lol
Love that she is from Alabama !!!!
Yes!!! 😁
It's the best 😆

Everyone else: “OY-YIL”
Laura: “OOL”
Makes me laugh every time😂❤️
😂 must be a southern thing because I say it exactly like Laura 😆
@@YummyGummy77 yeah, for me everyone says "ool".....including myself 😂
That's how we talk in Alabama ❣️

Laura’s hair always looks so healthy 😍😍

I’m from Queens, New York and I love listening to Laura talk. It’s the accent for me.
I haven’t worn foundation since high school and I graduated in 2010 and I used to always do that with my moisturizer and foundation lol
Me too, this is always how I've put on foundation. 15 years in
Tyler if you don’t take that bottle of oil away from Laura!! 😂
Love that all of these relatively useful and then Laura said… let’s make a bunny 😂🐇
Thank you so much for sharing my BB cream video Laura!!❤️❤️❤️
I been doing the first hack for over 10 years lol I do it with sunscreen also. I don't like the way foundation looks on my skin so I learn to adapt to what I can use
🤣🤣 the whole lip stain scrub on the teeth.. so needed that laugh! You look beautiful as ever also ♡ xoxo

Little trick for the paint and tape, pull the tape off before it dries all the way. It helps a lot!
I love your background much better!! 💕
Laura you had me laughing making your cute bunny...and I so needed that laugh today 🥰
I am SO obsessed with your hair!! I feel like it grew out so fast!
love these kinds of videos, these all seem like cute lifestyle tips 😊 and i loved how there were a few non-beauty related ones 👍🏼
I’m actually more concerned about the oil than the Vaseline. Vaseline doesn’t really clog your pores.
yes! it’s non-comedogenic it won’t clog pores
Yep! The molecules are too large to be absorbed into the skin.
Next time you do this, you and Manny should do these DIY hacks :)
LAURA 😂😂 I cannot with you and Ty’s “ohh” when the lid wasn’t closed… i love how clumsy you are bc same
Your hair is looking so beautiful and healthy! 😍
For the cream highlight, I would warm the petroleum jelly a few seconds in the microwave. It makes it easier to mix with the powder.
Loving these diy’s! Great way to save some 💰 and be creative
Love your hair today!
No need to worry about the Vaseline! It doesn’t clog pores! It’s great to help keep skin moisturized!
I love Laura so much she’s hilarious the fact that she called E6000 EGO GLUE sent me lmao I love you Laura!
This cracked me up too! 😂😂😂
lol i had a good laugh to that one too 🤣🤣
I was wondering of anyone else caught that!
Your hair looks amazing 🤩
Love the fact that you upload so frequently!
I love the setup and the background!! So cozy and aesthetically pleasing! But also like professional lol.
I’ve been doing the moisturizer thing with my foundation for yearssss, I’ve never found an actual bb cream I like so it just sheers out anything…such a good hack ❤
I about had a heart attack when that oil bottle fell GIRL.

Use some Dawn spray on your desk and it’ll remove the oil💕

Not me screaming. LAURA CLOSE THAT OIL GIRL! 🤣🤣🤣
the way you say “oil”!!
i love it!!🤍🤍🤍😭😭😭
Woman! Vaseline is the moisturizer of the ages!! That’s what our grandmothers used from top to bottom to stay young!
I’ve been doing the foundation and moisturizer thing for a while now. I don’t like how heavy/unbreathable foundation is. Doing this gives great coverage and feels like a BB cream.
I love this video!!! Please do more🤞🏻
When I was younger we would do the diy bunny with a wash cloth and glue a cotton ball on it for the tail.
That oil doesnt leave that much shine! It dries down quite a bit so the highlight was deffinitly working girl ✨️

Right huh!!! It's like if TikTok invented everything lol

Your arm and chest area definitely have a more illuminated glow to it, it's pretty. Great video!!
The checker bowl was so cute.. you should try that again with another item. So many great DIYs in this video.
"it worked like a glove" lmaoo shes so funny
“ it worked life a glove” 🤣🤣

I think she needed a different highlight. Her skin needs a golden color. That pink couldn't show up.
Vaseline is noncomedogenic, meaning that it will not clog or block pores. I slug a couple times a week
She’s wonderful inside and out - I love her ❤️
Love from Florida 😘
Such an awesome video very creative! 👏🏾
Love the boucle/teddy bear type material!
creating a personalized lipstick and blush for an occasion sounds wonderful, and it looks high end, imo!
I loved EVERY hack in this & I want to try them ALL!! ❤️🔥 And Laura, girl you crack me up 🤣🤣 I was about to pee!!!

The way that first hack blended in....wow! It went like invisible

This bb cream i have been doing for years, should have put on tiktok decade ago, try it with mac strobe cream, even beautiful result💕💕

☄️Your videos is so calm and aesthetic that's what every one wants ♥️🥰💖🍓😍🍓♥️🥰🍓☄️
💞💞Hello Laura & family 💞💞 Happy Friday 💞💞 love you all 💞💞
Laura, put some salt on your table it will soak up the oil and you can just wipe it away and clean after that. Should get rid of all oiliness.
I have a couple basic vases and I’m definitely doing this checkered diy!
Less messy to use Vaseline and sugar for a diy lip scrub! I don’t use food coloring 😂
Loved this video!!
Please put the bunny in Eryns room 😂😂🐰 see if she notices it when she comes home.
