I'm no expert but I believe Usyk would do well in previous eras. His footwork and stamina are stellar, his attacks are very diverse and he is very crafty. In heavyweight, as always, there's the risk to get KOd, and if you keep fighting long enough you will. But he is really great. He is like the boxing version of Fedor, but even better.

There is a reason Fury lost to Usyk, Usyk is an elite champion whereas Fury is a mediocre boxer that has cherry picked, ducked and dodged his way through a fraudulent career as can clearly be seen with his resume, Dubois has a better resume and he is just starting out in the big time. The first time he came up against a fighter who is unquestionably amongst the best boxer of his era. It’s even more telling when you consider that he is not even a natural heavyweight. Fury would have never defeated a prime Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Louis, Walcott, Liston, Vitali Klitschko, Mercier, Bowe, Ruddock, Holyfield, Briggs, and countless other fighters from the past. Usyk, would also have been beaten by many of the aforementioned pugilists, which is no shame given the simple fact that he lacks the power and physical presence. Jordan has a limited understanding of the fight game.

Fury was allowed to rest on the ropes, clinch excesivly (not to break an atack but to rest). The ref litterally stepped between Fury and Usyk when Usyk was chasing Fury across the ring. Usyk had to physically move the ref out of the way. The ref prevented Usyk from delivering tbe killer blowing round 9 and gave the slowest 10 count ever…Jabbr AI scored the fight 10-2 in Usyks favore (without even considering the knockdown in round 9). Compubox had it 8-4. One of the judges gave the win to Fury…

I'm no expert but I believe Usyk would do well in previous eras. His footwork and stamina are stellar, his attacks are very diverse and he is very crafty. In heavyweight, as always, there's the risk to get KOd, and if you keep fighting long enough you will. But he is really great. He is like the boxing version of Fedor, but even better.

There is a reason Fury lost to Usyk, Usyk is an elite champion whereas Fury is a mediocre boxer that has cherry picked, ducked and dodged his way through a fraudulent career as can clearly be seen with his resume, Dubois has a better resume and he is just starting out in the big time. Fury would have never defeated a prime Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Louis, Walcott, Liston, Vitali Klitschko, Mercier, Bowe, Ruddock, Holyfield, Briggs, and countless other fighters from the past.
Usyk, would also have been beaten by many of the aforementioned pugilists, which is no shame given the simple fact that he lacks the power and physical presence.

Is Tyson an all time great - I'd have to say no. But was a great boxer in his era, yes.

Tyson Fury is bipolar, that means his cognitive processes are erratic and unstable, he drinks and takes recreational drugs, he abuses his body with binge eating (common for people with mental disorders), he is often unfit and unhealthy. Compare all of that with the consummate processional Usyk, he has no mental illness, he is mentally stable, he does not drink or take drugs, he is always fit and healthy. Yet Usyk only just won both fights and had to dig deep for both victories which he fully deserved. Let that sink in, Uysk the consummate professional only just squeezed wins against a man with more baggage than Heathrow airport.
