Close rounds or swing rounds usually go in favour of the champion. Fury was the challenger here and he needed to do a lot more to rip the belts away. He just got out worked by Usyk in almost every round. It sounds like I’m being harsh on Fury but I can only give him the 5th round and possibly the 9th. I had it 118-110 to Usyk. Not a lot happened in the fight but Fury just didn’t do enough and Usyk was much busier and he landed more punches and he was more efficient with his shots.

This was after the fight with Usyk (2018+), but this proves Mchunu’s rather high class.

Fury fought the wrong fight plan again and came in 20 pounds overweight. Cant do that and expect to win agains a great champion.

I was surprised the ref did nothing about the continual fouling in the bout. It’s because the referee’s lack of any action, I genuinely believed the judges would stiff Usyk and award Fury an undeserved win.
