Move to heaven is one of the most beautiful and moving TV series I've ever seen. Each episode is better than the previous one. Truly a gem I hope more people can watch
Solid list. I've seen 5 on the list: Summer Strike, Move to Heaven, Because This is My First Life, Navillera, and My Liberation Notes. All of them are great and easy to recommend. My Liberation Notes was the biggest surprise for me initially, because of its slower pace, but the character work in that show is some of the best I've ever seen
Move to Heaven is amazing. Be prepared for some incredibly sad moments. However, you will finish it feeling more hopeful about humans' ability to care for one another.
Move to Heaven is really something all right. There aren't many dramas which can reduce me to tears but it had me bawling my eyes out within the first five minutes - it was just so emotionally raw and heartfelt whilst also having some of the most hilarious moments I've ever seen in any drama. Aside from that I'd say this year's Miraculous Brothers was certainly something very unique and special. It might not be for everyone but I loved every moment of it.
Great list! Please add "Mr. Queen"! 🤩Mr. Queen was hilarious, intriguing, and heartfelt! It also stars one of the main actors from "Welcome to Waikiki".
Chicago typewriter is still one of my favourites. Have watched it several times and love it. But there are to many who hasn't heard of it yet. So thank you for showing it here
I can thoroughly recommend:- This is my first Life. Really enjoyed this, funny, quirky, it evolves slowly. Chicago Typewriter. Is an absolute gem, it’s actually in my very best top 10 My Liberation Notes. Enjoyed every episode, can understand why it is No 1 Move to Heaven. is brilliant, on so many levels. Superb acting by everyone. Whilst I have viewed. “do you Like Brahms” and I do like KMJ’s acting, I found it very slow, I wanted to put it on FF. He’s had better ML parts. Thank you for the upload, always good to give people an overview.
IMO,the pace matched the temperament of the two leads. They are both introverts and people who take their time with introspection especially with decision making and like another character pointed out its like a crescendo, where the first note is the most quiet,it gets louder as it goes on. Do you like Brahms is great! Maybe just not the kind of series you enjoy. Highly recommend to anyone who's interested. Just stick by it,it will not disappoint.
@@qasqwas it had its moments, but only in as much as they had empathy for the dead who had no one to take care of their final moments. It was done with respect and honour of their lives, however humble they may have been. Inspiring actually.
If Welcome to Waikiki will make you laugh 'til you drop, Move to Heaven will make you cry like Han River.. It is so touching and emotional that viewers can feel each of the characters being portrayed.. It has a touch of humor too that is why each episode is never boring.. I just love the movie and Lee Je Hoon is so great here..
"Do you like Brahms?" is one of the first kdramas I've ever watched, caught my eye because I have musical background as well (and, well, I do like Brahms). It was so amazingly done. I hope now that Park Eun-Bin is more popular this show will get more recognition as well.
Move to Heaven is one of the best shows, period. Poignant, touching, funny in parts, with superb performances. Welcome to Waikiki is a wonderful comedy, with laugh out loud moments in each episode, moreso as you watch the later episodes. Series 2 isn't as funny, but still good fun.
Thank you! I will watch Chicago Typewriter. My Liberation Notes is a true masterpiece. Maybe not so underrated though? It was highly praised and discussed when it aired. Son Suk-ku did a stellar performance!! The whole lot (drama, screenplay, actors) were all nominated at the Baeksang Awards.
As I listened and watched I took out my pen and paper to note the 4 series I have not watched. I so agree with your #1. I rewatched the entire series and rewatched several of my favorite scenes. My first time seeing Sukko Son and he is now at the top of my favorite list as is Lee Min-Ki.
Move to Heaven is unbelievably good. So different & very moving on many levels. It is one worth watching! (The others listed will have to go on my watch list.)
OMG I LOVED 39. IT WAS SO GOOD. This is my first life loved. Moved to heaven so good. NIRVILLLA I CRIED AND LAUGHED THROUGH. SO GOOD. MY LIBRRATIIN NOTES WAS WONDERFUL.
IMO, My Liberation Notes, Do You Like Brahms?, Chicago Typewriter, Move to Heaven, The King’s Affection, and Navillera are the very best on the list. The other ones, are probably rated as they should be, since they are not of much interest to the populous.
18 Again , Chicago Typewriter and Do You Like Brahms are NOT available on Netflix in the US. WTW is so bad and chaotic. MY Liberation Notes is a masterpiece.
Have watched most. A word about what I loved about Do You Like Brahms - (kind of spoiler)- the protagonist always is excellent in their profession. Here Park Eun Bin’s character accepts that she is not as good in that and chooses a related profession. I thought that was a relatable thing.
I have watched a hundred plus Kdramas! Crash Landing on You is on my top 5. Goblin...My Holo Love... Descendants of the Sun ....Live Up to Your Name ( so underrated) I just realized so I can't I have a top-five I love so many Kdrama! 😅
I want to Add what I think is the Most Underrated show ever. “LOST” 2022 with Jeon Do-Yeon from “The Housemaid”, “Kill Boksoon” & “Crash Course In Romance” as Boo Jeong & Ryu Jun-Yeol from “Reply 1988”, “Believer” & “A Taxi Driver” as they come together as an unlikely pair in they journey through life. A song which Capital Records refused to release in the U. S. In 1985 was written by Leonard Cohen & discovered by the world in 1995 when Jeff Buckley covered it right before his untimely death in 1995 at age 30 & it was in the movie “Shrek”. The song “Hallelujah” originally had carnal lyrics which John Cale(the Velvet Underground) changed for younger audiences. Artists around the world sing it now. It has been covered more than 300 times. Leonard Cohen’s last performance was in “TeL Aviv” Israel before a group of Israeli & Palestinian youth a few years before he died. The song is like a character in this series as it’s lyrics relate to the real lives of the people lives in “Lost”. It is now playing on Prime. I’ve watched it more than 20 times and I still see the beauty of this Masterpiece each time.
I would add Mr. Sunshine. I totally agree with Chicago typerwriter and Because this is my first life. I don't really enjoy slow paced dramas so i found most of them boring.
It is really emotional, but once you know the story you will understand why.. I'm pretty sure you'll love it.. The actors are really great especially Lee Je Hoon.. @@maiteignacio5061
Excelente lista! Dos 10, assisti 7 deles e valem a pena. Saem dos temas românticos comuns. Tenho só ressalvas com 39, o foco na infância da dermatologista foi excessivo e que é a mais imatura e chata das personagens. Não assisti 18 Again, Welcome to Waikiki e Do you like Brahms. E acho o ator principal de Chicago Writer fantástico!
On this list, of the ones I've seen - Move to Heaven and Chicago Typewriter are fantastic. But, Do You Love Brahms? - snooze fest - and I really like Park Eun Bin in everything else I've seen him in.
I have seen them all except 1. 18 again 2. Welcome to Waikiki and 3. My liberation notes. Among other mentions some are ok but not all. My third mention “My Liberation Notes” is the worst. Started but could not continue at all. It deservedly is underrated.
Reason why on Netflix its cause the translations are bad especially for the jokes. Many see these on other apps like Viki where they explain the jokes or give background on some culture or proverbs
My Liberation Notes was not underrated. It’s a masterpiece. If you like it, revisit My Mister - same writer. I love Park Eun-bin, but skip Do You Like Brahms. Wrong message - the opposite of the message of hope and fulfillment in Navillera - and essentially no classical music. As I said in my IMDB review, at the end, if you watched the drama, your answer to the question in Do You Like Brahms’ title is, I couldn’t tell from watching the series.
I've never seen a more frustrating drama than "Do you like Brahms" Because of the leads The supposed romance from both ml and fl was so frustrating to watch as their relationship kept getting more and more complicated for no reason and its not because of the intervention of the villain but because both of them kept holding back away from each other until the last episode plus ive never seen such a miserable couple in the history of kdrama they miserable before they met and were still miserable afterthey became a couple like how?????
Couldn't get into this is my first life - too much male bashing - almost like watching something made in the states as all of the men (except of course the main lead) were scum. I only made it to around episode 7 or 8 of my liberation notes - really slow moving and I didn't find the kids very relatable. I had high hopes because I think My Mister is the best thing I have ever seen k-drama or otherwise. But this one just didn't have it. The kids just came across as self absorbed and not very likeable or relatable.

Maybe it's not just me who doesn't like gender intrigue dramas.
@@vilmamy True, I don’t normally like them much either
King affection I could barely finish. It's more like it can't ever be rated highly...not underrated
@MeiR2008 Because I didn’t see it in other “shows to watch on Netflix” lists, so thought it would at least be in this one
Move to Heaven is by far the most moving Kdrama I’ve watched, especially as the episodes are loosely based on real stories.
