Theres an aux on the left side of the bike behind the half fairing. Just have to remove that and pull it out.... much easier to get at.

Nice tutorial! Are the Tomtom wires suitable for the connector? Because they are so thin, I was wondering if I'd had to solder thicker wires to use in the connector.
Hi Timon, the Tomtom wires are suitable yes. I soldered them straight in to the connectors.
Great tutorial and I’m looking at the Tom Tom now - is there an option to use a USB cable from the power outlet on the dash? Not sure I can be bothered pulling apart my brand new bike. Cheers Mike
Hi Mike, the charging port on the Tomtom is the same as a Samsung Galaxy. You can connect a charge lead directly to the Tomtom and plug into your USB.
Hi I noticed the 14 plate mt09 in your garage... Can the Tom Tom rider 550 be done buy the same setup method in this video for your mt 09 GT to my 16 plate naked mt09.. Thanks
Hi Chipwood67, I'm sorry but I'm not sure. I don't have the MT09 anymore just the Tracer GT.
