  • Having a radiator guard is very important in my opinion. That is why I just got it. Got it from AliExpress. The purpose of this video is to show you how to mount it. Lets see how it fits. It is a 20 EUR product. You need only one allen key and this is number 4. It will take you around 30-40 min. For more watch the video: Yamaha Tracer 9: mounting the AliExpress radiator guard.

    Great tutorial! Many thanks for the warning about the bolts on the radiator, they were really hard to get off. And getting the bolts back on to the left side was an even harder struggle, thought I'd stripped the thread getting them out. Bit of WD40 and they managed to go back in, albeit with a struggle. I was also given a small pack of tiny rubber grommets with my guard, no idea what they were meant for!

    • @RRRRefuelRideRace
      @RRRRefuelRideRace  2 месяца назад +2

      You are welcome Paul. In my case the rubber grommets were there because of vibrations. Don't know if you got the same ones. :) You can sub for support if you wish so. There will be more videos like this. Cheers. Take care. Gregor.

      @@RRRRefuelRideRace Thanks. I had another look and found they could fit in the ventilation holes on the guard, so I put a few on the upper and lower sections.

    Great job, it's usually one of the first jobs I do on a new bike. Better than a hole in the radiator. Manufacturers should fit them as standard.
