Hiking Canada’s Frozen Wonderland with a Stranger: Garibaldi Lake

  • My girlfriend and I have just moved to Vancouver, Canada. The countries beautiful, the hockey’s entertaining and the poutine is surprisingly delicious but there is one thing missing… We don’t have any hiking friends yet.
    So we looked to the internet and found someone willing to give Garibaldi Lake a go.
    The alpine lake about 1 hour and a half from Vancouver. In Summer this a perfect day hike but it winter it could be a different story.
    We met up with the stranger and this is what happened…

    Looks like you just took a casual hike through Narnia there! Ewalina, those snowshoes are badass a few more feet of snow and you'd leave those boys in the dust!
