And Beyonce is not a Christian woman. She might be a church member but we all know that means not much. Her husband is anti-Christ. Her persona is anti-|Christ and her concerts are basically seances/initiations. And she clearly stated that she was using the Bible as a tampon. What are we defending here?I'm so saddened by this deception , lack of discernment and misuse of a such important spiritual platforms.

I am saddened. I was holding the conversations of these ladies as God led and empowering, but the last hour has just went up in flames at the conversation of the Ladies comments on Beyoncé. God will NEVER use or need the world to represent Him. As children of the kingdom, there needs to be a difference, Beyoncé offers freedom through the world, God offers freedom through His WORD and Holiness. She does not represent the God of creation who gave HIS life for my eternal salvation. Choose a side, holiness or hell

God can speak through sources beyond the bible. We just have to use discernment. The bible is not prescriptive on all issues that affect the modern world. It's possible to take principles and precepts from scripture, observe where this is reflected elsewhere and also benefit from that wisdom. It's unhealthy to automatically be wary of ideas just because it's not a direct quote from scripture. Referencing some earlier comments by a couple of panel members, I do also think we need to stop romanticising the levels of equality on the African continent prior to slavery and colonisation. Patriarchy was alive and well and didn't need Europeans to 'introduce' it into our context. Whilst there were contexts where female leadership was normative in pre-colonial Africa, it wasn't universal. You don't have to go far into historical research to discover that. The world is fallen and so patriarchy and other oppressive hierarchical systems isn't the preserve of one geographical location. It's pervasive. That's why part of our ministry of reconciliation and restoration is overturning this wherever we see it. Otherwise, I'm really glad that these conversations are happening and within the context of Jude 3 Project.

@@AcousticUplift Absolutely. I don’t have a problem with extra-biblical sources of truth as long as they’re true, I would agree that that would be a weird take and that wasn’t the point of my post. I do have a problem with extra-biblical “truth” that clearly contradict the Bible though, particularly in fundamental teachings that Jesus himself taught. We need to be able to discern truth from error and the Bible shines in that area. Edit: patriarchy is not actually promoted by the Bible, even though misogynists of every age have tried to use the Bible to justify it.

With all honesty and respect I would like for these conversations to be less bias. Everyone on panel agrees with each other for the most part therefore no matter what extra insight they give they all answer the same way. Next I would love to have seen men up there as well as de-converted people. Since this conversation is presented as open-minded and as approaching tough issues That would typically be gaslighted in church or with religious leaders. since this it not just a woman issue but a religious doctrine issue men should have been included. Next why are the speakers always trying to fix the way questions are presented, or the perspective of a person's question rather then accept the person isn't struggling nor wrong for why they question and come to conclusions opposite of christian leadership and influence.

@@user-rf8gk7ir4f Everyone's point of view is not always needed in every conversation. Sometimes, there are conversations that feature a certain group because the point of the conversation is to get a specific point of view that is often overlooked. Why have men on a panel about women's experiences with their church and religion?
That's what this conversation was about: how do women feel about their experiences in the Christian church. I agree that we need to have a broader discussion but this wasn't the time for it.
If you really listened to this conversation, you'd hear various women, from different backgrounds, that have similar experiences. I think that means something.
It sounds like you don't like what their experiences point towards: a religion that outright vilifies women as jezebels and succubi.

Dr. Robinson made the following statement out of Ephesian 5 submit unto each other out mutuality. Then she restates her view of verse 21 husband and wives submit to each other as unto the Lord. Now let's look at the verse. KJV - 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. NIV - 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. NASB - 21 and subject yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
Then Dr. Robinson uses the example of her husband staying home with our daughter as if under God's commands for a parent does not apply to the husband as it relates to their daughter. What's wrong with that picture? God specifically laid out His requirements as it relates to husband and wife and it had nothing to do with leadership in worldly thoughts. As a matter of Truth, it had nothing to do with anything other than God understanding His creation and what was needed for the two to become one. For the man, God saw the man needed to love God's creation of woman just as He loves His church which is all of God's children and gave His life for her. Why didn't God give the same command to the woman? Why respect? Why submit? Was He speaking about leadership within the household? Dr. Robinson seems to think so. She said that she leads in somethings and her husband leads in other things. That has nothing to do with Ephesian 5! Warning look at these verses before verse 21. 15 Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
What is the Lord's will for husband verses wives: 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church- 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[c] 32 This is a profound mystery-but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Where do you get leadership out of these verses? Look at why God instructed the husband to love his wife as God loves the church beginning at verse 26! To make her holy, to cleanse her through the Word and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless!
God gave wives two commands in this dialogue. Verses 22-24 and 33. Submit in everything and respect. Why? God's order of things and His understanding of His creation in the woman. It's easy for a woman to love, but it ain't easy for a woman to submit and respect. Nowadays it's hard for anyone to respect. That is why the thought of respect has brought about so many killings and beatings because of how we have been trained to think and act on the word respect.

The naturally indigenous people of the planet could no longer have their culture and spirituality. In fact, under the tenets of Christianity, these people were not human and were only fit to be slaves of the European. Now the Pope actually stated that in a Papal Bull.

Spirituality is innate in all life. Religion is a physical man's attempt to describe the infinite conciousness experienced through Spirituality. And the problem with religion, is that man is trying to put lower human emotions, behavior and mental ideas on the Infinite Consciousness that everything and everyone automatically experiences before physical incarnation. I told my parents about activities they were involved in before I was born. How can the limited mind of a church man explain that. His knowledge only comes from a book that certain men have decided is real for their church. Yet, the love and knowledge of the Almighty has no limits. That's because the Love of the Almighty is Infinite conciousness and has no limits. The human and their materialistic-based system wants to control how people experience the Infinite Consciousness of the Almighty. This is foolishness. Before there was the Universe, it was, before there was Earth, it was and before there was religion, it was. And you have always been connected and existing in it. It dosen't know evil or sin. You have been given a false identity based on false teachings.

@missmytime Please give chapter and verse where Jesus tells a woman to go "preach".. Preaching is more than relaying a message. No one can seem to explain 1 Timothy 2:12-14 it's clear instruction on this topic! Let's stop assuming meanings and deal with the text. Oh and it's not Paul speaking by the way, it's the Holy Ghost speaking through Paul which means it's God! There are no separate rules for certain churches. His commands are for all. None of those women you mentioned "Preach"! Show me where they did? Everyone that tells someone Jesus rose isn't a preacher. That's another problem. The church has lowered the standards for what it means to be a preacher that people think that's all it means. Being a preacher comes with so many responsibilities and requirements.

There is no evidence of Adam and Eve's existence. They are considered to be mythological characters.
The only way you can know about a woman being created from a rib of a man is if man tells you that story. But man coming through the womb of a woman is universal law. None of us ever needed a man to introduce that information to us. That is the authority. Man telling us that a woman came from a man is man's mythology and the only way to get that information is to go through man.. But man coming from the womb of a woman is universal and does not rely on the words of man. No man had to introduce this natural law to us.. Therefore the natural law is the authority over man's mythology. The entity that introduce you to natural law is much more powerful than the human entity that introduced you to the mythologies of man.
Now if you want to operate in a state of delusion with talkin donkeys and all then whatever you say is correct but if you are dealing with facts and history, man's mythologies will never be the authority over natural law. Reindeer walking will always have authority over flying reindeer.

All of those women except Dr. Lyons were not rightly dividing word of truth. They don't believe that the Bible is the final authority. The Bible is the inspired word of G0d. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.God give man the role of headship. Bottom line. The issue is sinfulness. The lady that brought up the Samaritan, missed what Jesus was doing in this encounter with the Samaritan woman: This is connected to salvation coming to the Jews first. Some of Samaritans where from descendants of the House of Israel. After King Solomon's rule the the nation was split into to Southern and Northern kingdom of Israel. Samaria being being the Northern Kingdom, 2 Ki 17:1-6) . Later those Jews began to intermarriage with non-Jews. Eventually tension between the Jewish from the Southern Kingdom and the Northern Kingdom occurred. The Southern Kingdom worshipped God in Jerusalem , Gen 12:6,7)and the Northern Kingdom worshipped God at Mt. Gerizim, (Dt 11:29,30). This encounter was about Jesus bringing his redemption ( salvation) to the Northern Kingdom as well as the Southern Kingdom, (John 4:22). Jesus pointed her to true worship not location, (John 4:19:22). This Sister said that the Samaritan woman was a theologian, not so; however, if one want to subscribe to that conclusion, it cannot be missed that the Samaritan did not recognize the savior, and Jesus corrected her theology regarding him, just as he did to Nicodemus, (John 3). Yes, the woman was saved, and she did share her testimony; however, none of that makes her a pastor. Jesus also did address the issue of Those women on the panel with exception of Sister Lyons brought their experiences to the text and they disregard the authority of scripture and the creator of scripture. The other sister mention women disciples, yes there were other women and men disciples, just as any believer who is in Christ man or women is a disciple of Christ; however, Jesus handpicked the 12 and Paul to build his church(Apostles), and they then discipled others, this is bible 101. Jesus did not handpick women disciples for that assignment. Jesus is the main person of this text that we should largely lay focus on. How is he revealing himself while showing redemptive love to this woman. What does he want her to know about him is the same thing he wants us to know about him. Yes, ancient book that will last forever, 1 Peter 1:22-25 22 Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a [t]sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For,“All flesh is like grass,And all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers,And the flower falls off,25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”And this is the word which was preached to you. The Bible was for that time and this time every period that God will allow to exist until the Living Word returns. Please excuse any grammatical and/or spelling errors.

I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah.

She was a pastor, according to the scriptures.
This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles.

Thanks for the mention of Deborah. While I am aware of her, it caused me to go back and study the word. Deborah was both a judge and a prophet; however, not ever judge and prophet was a priest. Judges were the legal voices for the people and would guide the laws and ways of practical living, most judges engage in war; however, Deborah did not engage and war. Prophets were the interpreters of culture and community and taught people how to best live their lives. Go back in read the book of numbers where God instructs Moses who was both judge and prophet to select the Levites as to be the priest; Arron to was a priest. You mentioned Chronicles to give evidence that all judges were priest; however, I don't see that mention in that book. I do however, see that in 2 Chronicles 15:3 that there were no judges; for a time. There is no doubt that God used women as judges, prophetess, deacons, teachers, and evangelist but not as pastors. There is no evidence of this. Priscilla and her husband did support the church and they both help
Paul doctrine regarding baptism. However, the word does not ever show her teaching or preaching in the temple or in one of the home church to a group of men or women. Folks have only assumed that she did. We should not read into the text what we want it to say. We are later shown through Titus 2 who women can teach and 1 Corinthians 11; 1 Corinthians 14:34; , Women can pray. Also, evangelism is witnessing not pastoring. Women are leaders in the eyes of God and varies roles, just not as the pastor and in her marriage. She may lead her kids or women, but not men in temple worship. We must not confused ability with God's will. Yes, man or woman may be better then the other in some address, it;s not about that, it is simply
God's order. A CEO of a company has the final say but delegates to able men and women, thus in the marriage God ordain man to lead and yes delegate to his capable wife. We are equal , God show no impartiality, but he gives us different roles. Same in the temple, place of worship, man is the Shepard and he delegates. All people should be respected. There so many areas that women can lead, just lead God's way and in his order. I would love to discuss this with you further," Iron sharping Iron". Maybe we could email or Zoom. I maybe missing something. This is topic that is plaguing our church and I believe we should be sensitive with each other as we try to learn and be obedient to God. @@go28 My essay can be posted if you have
      15 minutes to read it.
      Until then there is this:
      Complementarianism
That false and confusing teaching, that states Christian women are less than
Christian men in a spiritual way, but they really aren't, but they really are.
The complementarian teaching prohibits a Christian woman from holding
certain positions in a church. They can't be elders neither can
they teach men. So why is that?
The false teaching makes it clear that the priesthood of the New Covenant
is tiered. There is a hierarchy. Those that are higher, the men, can be in
leadership positions, like elder. They can teach other men. Those in the
lower tier can not be in leadership positions, like elder. They are prohibited
from teaching men, because the men are in the higher tier. It wouldn't make
      any sense.
A new believer is automatically assigned their level, higher or lower,
at the moment of salvation, as a birthright. Their gender determines
their tier. A Christian can not move to a higher or lower tier.
A Christian that is in the lower tier (woman) is not allowed to
complain of the tier she was placed in. That would be sin, because
God made her a woman by His choice. She should accept and also
embrace her position in the lower tier.
A church, is either a group of Christian men or a group of Christian men and women.
A church can never be a group of Christian women, because it would be
a group of only those in the lower tier. It would have no elders.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
      -excerpt 1 Peter 2
Since the teaching states that women are spiritually inferior to men, but
they aren't, but they are, when did that start?
But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer.
      -excerpt 1 Timothy 2
It started with the first woman. She was deceived, and sinned because of it. So we
have a teaching that accepts that men and women are fallen beings. Both genders
are sinful by nature. However women are different. They are lacking the ability
that men have to judge if some situation, some concept or teaching is sinful. This
inability was passed down from Eve to all women. It remains to this day. A woman
in our time was 'lacking' from birth, even from the womb.
So what can be done? Nothing according to Complementarianism. That is because
an anointing of that powerful masculine being called the Holy Spirit, is just not
sufficient. Even the Holy Spirit can not elevate even one Christian woman to the
spiritually superior level of a Christian man.

That false and confusing teaching, that states Christian women are less than
Christian men in a spiritual way, but they really aren't, but they really are. This is a false statement. Also, you are interpreting 1 Peter incorrectly. He is speaking about holy living, not actually being a priest. I love to talk with you more about this. It is hard to discuss serious matters such as this one this way. actually did must be a false doctrine.
The answer to all this isn't around 50 A.D. or so with
Paul's writings. It is about 1100 B.C. with God making
a woman a Judge over Israel. I can post the essay, but
at this point you seem to be someone that will ignore
what God did. I post on this matter every day. People
say Deborah wasn't a pastor/shepherd in the New
Covenant. Or she was an exception because the men
were very sinful then. Or whatever God did regarding her
is totally unimportant to us because of 15 or so sentences
      written by Paul.

True Christianity represents the cross ✝️ . Most Americans are not it seems "born again Christians ".if you have truly been born again. Your mind is not occupied with this subject of nonsense.

People just want to something to complain or talk about. Choose a different religion - like Islam. Make your own religion, like Kwanzaa. This is a ridiculous conversation. I'm so exhausted with us, especially black women.

The cross represents freedom for the captives. Women have been held captive for centuries by unchristlike theology. How is this not an important topic for the “born again”? That would be like saying a true Christian should not have been concerned with slavery in the 1800s. To the contrary, if you’re a true Christian how can you NOT be concerned with these things?

@@missmytimeThe cross doesn't represent freedom for anyone in the true essence of what it was, which was a executionary method. A lot of Christians glorify the cross which is idolatry according to the scripts.

@@keepitahunnid7133 Hmm. You think the cross “doesn’t represent freedom for anyone”? That’s actually the exact opposite of what scripture teaches.

@@missmytime Yes, I think it represents true freedom for some people (symbolically) but in the true essence of what it was used for, no. Execution (🚫)does not represent freedom.Charismatic doctrine has idolized the cross. For instance, can you point out in scripture where it says that the cross represents freedom?

Jesus never heard of Christianity. Its a 600 year old term invented by the knights templars and poplurarized by king james translations.
Jesus was only messenger and referred to someone else the father as God.
The greek word Christos or Christinos mean to Chrystallize. There were no Christians in anchient Rome.
Anchient Rome did refer to a group of immigrants from Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth areas as Nazarenes or Nazaroens because they were assumed to be Jesus followers. These people did not worship Jesus as God and didnt call themselves Christian. Theres no hebrew version of the word as CH isnt in the alphabet.
