Congratulations on your Royale turning 3! You're absolutely spot on! People don't realize it's also a solid watch. I've gone swimming with mine and it works fine! My fav Casio watch for sure
I own two good watches. Seiko and Rolex. But my everyday wear is a less than $10.00 Walmart ( do not know brand) . Keeps great time and last at least 2 years . Never change bands or batteries ; should throw away and buy another. BTW , great and informative video.
If this were a game, you've already won at it! 👏 A Seiko and Rolex combo is the most envious watch duo! Sprinkle in a Walmart beater watch and you're golden! I wish more people could see that the same wrist that wears a Rolex can as easily slip into a $10 watch. Appreciate the kind words 🙏
The Timex Expedition digital is definitely a great shout-out. Imo it's very similar to the Casio SGW100 series featured on the list. At a similar price, it comes with a few additional features like 200m WR, thermometer, and dual time. I would highly recommend trying it if you get the chance! :)
@@WatchesForAll I had the SGW-100 for a short while. It has one of the better displays Casio makes (larger digits) but the lousy beeps (a problem with almost any Casio), the way too short illumination duration of 1.5 seconds and the too short stopwatch duration of only 60 minutes were deal breakers. I don't care if a watch is rated 50/100/200 meters because on a daily basis - aside from water sports - it doesn't matter at all. I also don't care about ABC functions, cause my Garmin Instinct will outperform pretty much any other brand in that matter. But at least a normal (dumb) digital watch has to get the basics (backlight, timer, stopwatch, audible alarms) right. The Timex T40941 (and lots of others) can do that, most Casio's can't.
All perfectly fair points and just goes back to one's preference. I definitely agree that the Timex indiglo beats most Casio illuminators. That said, I'm glad you got the chance to enjoy both watches!
@@WatchesForAll Oh yeah I definitely enjoy both Timex and Casio digitals. Right now I wear a SGW-300, one of the few Casio's with an audible alarm - to my hearing at least - and the display is also fantastic crisp without too much useless clutter. My favorite Casio however remains the W-736H with one of the best displays ever and the useful vibration alarm. In case you don't know it I strongly recommend to check it out.
Both watches are excellent! I hope you're enjoying them both. I actually like both these watches a lot! A perfect 2 watch collection for all occasions. 👍
Fair point. I think the biggest struggle is sharing links that are location-friendly since Casio has slightly varied offerings in each geographic market. Will try and add the links in soon. 👍
Haha I guess haters gonna hate! 🤷 But trust me, it's one of the best digital budget watches imo. It has everything going for it. A world time watch that looks great and has decent water resistance for under $30!
@@WatchesForAll Not hating, i was just testing the waters, i may be biased because the only one left in my " collection" is the Royale. Sidenote ...Everyone hypes up the 5600 like we are all exposing our watches to rough conditions and not just couch dwelling. 😎
Get the Royale! And complete that collection! I do agree that most of us are definitely not doing nearly enough adventurous stuff to merit the 5600, but again, even while couch surfing, I find new and innovative ways to hit my watch against all kinds of surfaces! I literally dopped my 5600 today while putting it on! 😂
I was saying the "Royale" was the only one left in my collection, i'll never part with it, this is no no knock on the 5600, if i get a G-Shock it will be that one. P.S. Almost got caught in the whirlwind that's called the CasiOak, glad i didn't. Even my dead grandparents are wearing it. @@WatchesForAll
CasiOak is an interesting one. I'm split on it. I think they look good and are pretty affordable compared to other royal oak inspired watches, but I find the dial difficult to read and feel this whole thing could be a phase that will pass soon. 🤷
Casio just dominates.
Absolutely agreed. It's definitely their niche. When it comes to quality budget watches especially digital, it's very hard to beat Casio!
My casio AE 1200 ( casio royale) will turn 3 on 26th Oct. Its a really tough, great watch.

Great content. Love the pieces of pop culture and history you add to each watch description.

The Timex Expedition T40941 would have put them all to shame, sadly it didn't make it to the list.

I think the classic G Shock had to be first, because it’s the best!👍🇬🇧
You're right! It's simply awesome 👌

I almost subscribed but you put the "Royale" in second place, come on...bruh.
