- Today I'll be melting scrap copper wires and turning them into a huge copper ingot (or a couple). We'll need to cut them into smaller pieces and have some fun with the dumper, but everything will be completely worth it when you see the result!

I have a question. I melted some copper and poured it into a metal pipe. I could not get it it if the pipe. It was like it brazed or welded its self to the metal pipe. How can I keep this from happening next time?

Isn't there risk when using such a old/"broken" furnace like yours? I clearly has seen better days and I'm just wondering if it could cause securities issues when using it.

What for did u do this? As the output you have law-grade high oxide copper. you'd better sell the scrap to final user or metallurgical plant.
