This is the content I love watching G. No knockout challenges or silly games, just pure good golf.
Yes but I also love the silly games lol
Agree it becomes too much
I love how Garret is talking to Bubbie the entire round everytime he pulled out the putter off the green👌
Talking to bubbie???TF Lmao
I love how Garrett says at 5:00 “you just gotta be at the point where you’re blacking out and taking it deep and nothing else”
We all need a Bobby Fairways in our lives Garrett. To the moon
Finding Bob does sports was like accidentally eating a new food and it becoming a favorite.
Don’t know how I saw it first, but now I don’t know how a ever lived without it 😁
I think the 1st video I saw from Bob was when he told Joey he was taking him to Torrey Pines and took him to a course with almost no grass at all lol
@@niners4life781 “i just hit that over the fence. That’s a tp5. That golf ball is worth more than this hole”
A fucking iconic golf youtube video
Probably a breach of contract haha
@ep3578 I've been hooked ever since. Now with FP with em just adds to the channel
Garrett, you’re 100% right about golf. It always is there and it always makes you feel better. My dad passed away from cancer a month ago, and the only thing that’s made me feel good is playing golf. Alone out on the course in nature just enjoying life focusing on the game and forgetting about the issues that go on in life.
Amen rip to your dad
Absolutely! My condolences.
So sorry for your loss!
Sully is a gem. You have to love folks like that & I’m sure it made his day/week having you accept that gift as a “thank you” for all the content and all the good you’ve done for the sport.
Love the content, but an ep of BREAK 65 needs to have a scorebug with the current score.
I second this
I third this
4th it
Fiver!
That and shouldnt it be called break 67
I can relate to golf being an escape from reality. When my mom had terminal cancer and was in hospice I played almost everyday. I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. Being able to play either by yourself or with your buddies it’s always my sanctuary.❤
Fvck cancer. Glad you could find an escape man.
I completely agree. It is the best way possible to escape reality. Just a copule of hours can be very much needed sometimes.
These type of videos are my favorite. It lets you really enjoy the golf experience and Garrett does a good job of expressing his thoughts throughout the round.
This video was absolutely terrific. It shows the continued evolution of a crazy young kid to an adult. It shows so much the influence of positive people that have been around Garett. Humble, enjoying the round, embracing positivity, and its wonderful to see. This is my favorite GM Golf video to date and I hope to see much more of this.
One thing you have to like about Garrett (and most of Good Good) is his positive mentality. No matter what, he is smiling and having fun! I can confirm, I am not that way on the course! LOL
Why play than?
True, but... I guess I would be pretty positive if I had all my housing, travel and other expenses paid for (by Good Good), played golf one week with Good Good on beautiful and exclusive courses, then had three weeks off to work on my own channel (or not). He's living a vacation for his entire life right now. Would be tough to be negative under those circumstances.
That being said, Garrett is my favorite among the Good Good crew, and I really enjoy watching his videos. And he is a hell of a golfer too!
Cheers!
Yes, but maybe TOO much. Allowing events which he CANNOT win would be very disheartening. He is in the GoodGood cups and is last place. The one time he "quit" mentally was the BlueJack National event and he tried to laugh it off but eveyone could tell.
Played pelican 4 days ago for my first time ever golfing. Fell in love and bought my first set of clubs. Here’s to years more of gold
Thank you Garret. I have been waiting for another video in the break 65 series. They are so inspirational. I love your energy on the course ⛳️🏌♂️
The most encouraging thing from watching this entire video was the cart cams. It was a great insite into how you've been handeling the departures of someone you've known your entire life and someone Im sure you considered a best friend for the past 3 years. Im glad golf is giving you an outlet to decompress and find peace. Im sure its not just me saying this but we love your content and the stuff you're doing over at Good Good. I hope all of the original members can find a way to collab and continue to be friends. Much love all from Colorado! Keep killing it G
I mean the course in itself is beautiful, but whatever Ryder does to make these shots happen just makes it even better. Keep up the good content G
Nobody hustles and grinds like you Garrett! Happy New Year man! 2023 will be your best yet.
Grinding in the bushes. No way he finds that.
@@stuartstuart321 He literally recorded a 14 on camera his last round. I highly doubt Garrett cheats ever.
2023 won't be good at all, Sharf is still in good good and the brand will die slowly without Tig and Grant. Grant and Garrett are were they keys to the channel. What's left is no chat, patter nothing. Half the audience probably doesn't understand Bubbie, most of us hate Sharf.
@@richiejbhoy1888 Tig and Grant decided to leave. It is what it is, time to let it go. I still enjoy their videos and it seems like 500k+ still do as well.
@@richiejbhoy1888 comical. Garrett was giving tv and NEWSPAPERS interviews, featuring in all the major golf Instagram pages, collabing with huge youtubers and making alot of money when unemployed college dropout leech boy was still sucking daddy's titties dry.
Acting like someone who was GIFTED a career when he was destined to food stamps was the key to success to the people that MADE HIM while saying someone with millions of followers in all platforms will "have a dead channel " is both hypocritical and absolutely hilarious..
I love y’all’s content. Every dad you guys bring me a smile and brighten up my day. Keep up the good work.
I love this video. The happiness you put out there is so great. I live in a place with a lot of snow so no golf in winter but I get the same excitement watching you as I do when I play golf my self.
That comment you made about when your going through a tough time with things and the golf course can heal you couldn’t be more true I’ve had my fair share of tough times and the course (no matter how bad/good I played) always brought me peace
Love how you’re continually positive even when you’re not playing well G. Keep up the good work!
20:30 I couldn't agree more with this. Whether it's my own thoughts, or my environment at home, I'm not always at peace when I'm here, and golf really does give me a sense of relief/freedom. It's a chance to just get away from everything going on, and just frees my mind. It makes me forget everything else just for a few hours, but it's a feeling that I will always be thankful for, and that's one reason why I love this sport. Thanks for touching up on that subject and reminding me of why I love this game. Keep everything up, Garrett! Love the realness and vibes these videos bring!
Garrett absolutely love you, the energy and honesty you bring to your content. A couple of things to consider if you'd like to break 65 sooner rather than later. The number one thing that's holding you back and you mentioned it yourself, course management. The holes you're struggling on often involve either a poorly positioned tee shot or an in-between yardage into the green (usually caused by hitting driver or hybrid instead of a 3 or 4 iron off the tee). Hitting driver and being aggressive is fine when you're playing a team challenge with the boys but when your goal is to shoot a low number, your mindset has to change. Lastly, I'd recommend keeping the 3 wood out of the bag and going to a 18% hybrid. Keep up the great work with the guys, looking forward to seeing some great videos in 2023. Happy New Year!
P.S., from the father in me, a side note to the boys and your CEO. PLEASE START TAKING CARE OF YOUR BACKS (and health in general. Make sure you all have the best health insurance possible)! If your backs are bad, you can't golf (or even get out of bed eventually). I know you guys are young but a bad back doesn't age discriminate. Stop jumping on each others backs, get an inversion table and ice tub at the house. You'll all feel better, play better and have longevity as a result...PEACE!
So often in videos they say it is their first swing of the day like it is cool and rip a driver. Not good for the back.
This is my favorite series out of all the videos from all the content yall are making. The vibes the simplicity and the editing is nuts. Love it!
love this series and absolutely live how happy you are while you’re filming as well keep them coming 🎉
Nice 60’ putt. Great to see the smile on Garrett face. Don’t let the Good Good changes get you down, it will work out. It’s great having mix of talent and personalities on Good Good. Plus, it has been so fun watching the improvement in Bubbie, Matt, and Steve. Happy New Year and thanks for all the content.
Happy New Year!! Thank you for the content and always keeping it great!
You're the man G! This content is everything. Love everything about it. Let's go boys!
Thank you for all the great content you and your team have posted this year. Happy New Year.
this is my favourite content, garret is such a g, could watch him all day
Happy new year Garrett, you'll break 65 soon all it takes is getting hot! You got this! 🎉
Love this series. It’s great to see all 18. Especially with the drone shots.
I have learnt so much from your mentality on the course. I’m so happy I found your channel. Happy new year!
Happy New Year, man! Thanks for helping us see out 2022 in style! 🎉
Not liking whatever is on garrets hat
@@antoniolarocca4138 That's a lavalier microphone. Normally you clip it to your shirt collar, but because he's twisting his upper body during his golf swing, that can cause very loud scratching and popping sounds in the mic. Clipping it to the hat makes it more stable and cuts down on extra audio editing in post-production
Yes I totally understand where you come from when you say it’s a mental break getting on a golf course. Because you’re not worrying about anything in your daily life and you’re concentrating on being in the moment.
I agree Garrett golf is my biggest form of therapy
32:36 you can see the line on the exact putt someone hit before him. All he had to do was follow that 😂
Or him taking a practice putt…
@@Ed-gx8hm I don’t think that would make sense for him to take a practice putt that looks like it went in and then shoot the clip again and he misses it? Garret is not a liar
Garrett, this series is one of my favorites to watch. I like the fact that you challenge yourself to go low. Happy New Year, and many blessings to you for the upcoming Year.
I already know this is gonna be good so I’m commenting before I watch thank you putting this kind of entertainment out 😁
love the vibes from this dood, always humble and just enjoying the game of golf. Love the content man
The videography in this video is amazing. It honestly might be the best shot\edited video in the history of the gm_golf channel - absolutely beautiful.
Loving this series, was rooting for you the whole way through!
Garrett, you beautiful specimen you, I’ve been watching your content since your trick shot days, your ability to keep a positive attitude, your creative mind, your confidence, your grace, your silky smooth buttery swing are all parts of the reason I love you, but most of all the mindset you have about all the adversity you’ve been facing gives me hope in my own life, I wish you nothing but the best my guy and can’t wait for the day you break 65
Loving the positivity Garrett, happy new year
Happy new year!!! Thank you for. The good good good content 👍
Totally agree golf is such a stress reliever if things are difficult. Work has been bad for me lately but golf has been great and makes it better
HAPPY NEW YEAR G! Looking forward to all the videos in 2023!
Just keep doing what you're doing garret & everything will work out, you're a good dude. Best of luck in 2023 with the content im looking forward to it & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Love your content man! Keep up the good work. Excited for what is in store this next year. Cheers!
Garret you're the best! I can't watch the others anymore. Happy New Year!
I enjoy watching your videos. Anytime I can make a par or better I consider it a miracle since I am just getting back into golf after a very long hiatus. I would love to see you and GoodGood do a video with Grant, Micah, BustaJack Golf, and the Bryan Bros; like a mini tournament. That would be EPIC! I hope 2023 is even better than 2022! God bless!
The quality of the video and editing is astounding. Loving this. Keep them coming!
I started playing golf in June and it changed me. Golf is more than just a sport.
I totally understand about being Free Brother! 2023 is going to be your Best Year Bud!
Great video. I 100% agree, golf is therapeutic, especially at sunrise when you’re the only person on the course. Just you, your clubs, the course, and your thoughts
love thoses break 65! Happy new year dude wish you the best and 2023 will be the year...I can feel it
Love this series Garrett and congratulations towards being the nr.1 on YT golfer of 2022!
Thanks for bearing your soul Garrett, and couldn't agree more, golf is cathartic! It's a great way to forget a lot of the BS we all deal with. Pelican is a great course!
I like the ratings at the end. Always good to run through the round in your head and recognize the weaknesses to work on for the next time... Keep that as part of this series please.
Golf definitely helped with me just after my dad passed away. The week after I would go out on my own, play golf and collect my thoughts. Great mind leveller. Keep up the good work Garrett.
Love the content buddy, great year for you and the boys, keep it up for 2023!
love the breaking 65 series and just the overall commentating. great content!!
You’re right when you said it’s just you and the course, and nothing else. Best feeling in the world🤞🏼
I love the trail on the top tracer you used for this video, so much more satisfying. Hope you keep it for the rest of the videos. Lot the content Garrett!
2023 will be an even bigger year for you, keep hustling man!
the prduction and editing on this video is unmatched. makes garretts and good goods videos the best golf channels on youtube.
I am fully agreement when you get on the course its such a mind relief
I really enjoyed this. Rating yourself on everything is a key factor. Keep doing this. Your Drive was killer
Hey Garret... LOVE this video series and this one in particular! Several points which are stand out: 1) Shot tracers on more than just Driver... big thumbs up for sure; 2) Your heart showing through when talking about the past month or so with the GG crew and shake up; 3) Your post game wrap up with ratings... stellar; 4) And finally, your infectious positivity and desire to honor those around you... especially giving props to the fan who gave you the range finder you almost left behind! LOL Well done man!
happy new year’s eve brother, here’s to a great year to come for good good and yourself🍻
Life is good when your roll'in & dropping rocks! Let's Go!!
Happy New Year bruh, watching your vids here & at Good Good has been like therapy as I grapple with tough circumstances.
I was wondering when and if we'd see another break 65 and here it is. Happy New Year!
Mate, love your energy and attitude and yeah all of it is why we love golf
It’s been a while since I checked in here. I’m diggin the content now always have
Great series bro, keep it up! Love how you are grading yourself after each session.
So true on the title… on golf, I don’t usually play my best on the first 2-3 holes, but when I get the hang of it I start doing pars in a row. But yeah, mentality is the crucial role in how you play
Love you adding the breaking 65 onto the channel! 💯
great round! love seeing the pure golf rather than all those wacky good good challenges 😂
Those challenges it's what makes Good Good, good lol and interesting
@@shorty3166 not really the format is mostly because bubby and Steve are probably around 13 handicaps everyone else is near scratch except maybe Matt(hard to tell, inconsistent and now has back problems) and it would be unwatchable if they just did stroke play or match play and those guys are always getting crushed or just going against each other
@@lordfarquaad6339 I'm pretty sure bubbie is near scratch too
@@lordfarquaad6339bubbie is wayyy lower than 13 lol
@@josephshovlin1672 He's not, though.
Kudos to garrett’s parents who raised such fine young man with sunny attitudes all d tym n not a hatred bone in his body …. More power n hope u can help n inspire more golfers
Man, just watching the intro itself, the editing the clips chosen for the music, it’s perfectly done. Great Job editors
even at 8:29 this little transition
Garrett is just so good at youtube golf content...whether it's his personality or how his videos are edited, I find his content is always a cut above most other channels
I agree with Golf being a place to get your mind away from everything.
Had cancer this past summer and played as much as I could to escape from the stress. Proud to say I’m cancer free and still hitting the links today!
Really enjoy this series. I think having a solid caddie like you had in episode 1, would not only be helpful for you to you in your decision making on the course, but helps demonstrate the importance of the mental part of the game.
Love the series man! Always get a little pang of excitement when I see the thumbnail! Keep it up bro
Golf is my distraction and I love it 😍 Good Good is there for me when I can't play 🙏❤️
So garret is my favorite RUclipsr of all them. I never knew why I liked him so much but realized it’s because he the tiger of RUclips just so clutch
Garrett I know I'm a random person but as far as putting, have you ever tried slowing your stroke down and taking it a tad farther back? With your poppy little stroke, it's hard to be consistent. Just a thought. I really feel like with that arm lock, if you lengthen and slow your stroke you'd drop 5 strokes per round. Hope it helps!
great video garrett. always look forward to watching these from the UK
That's why I love living and playing here in the Myrtle Beach area is because of the beautiful scenery. The smell of the ocean is something else. That eagle putt on the 8th hole was massive.
Pure golf bro it's a beauty to watch. Unfortunate events with good good but thanks for always being positive about everything. Your trick shots back in the day got me onto you not good good lol you make good good
Gotta say, lovin' the music mix on this one...super chill, real nice.
Your content is the best Garrett. Please never stop.
Its so fun to watch you play these courses
Love your energy and I totally agree with you that golf is such a stressful year of anything you got going on. It just puts your mind at ease cause all you can do is focus on playing golf. That's why one of the reasons I love sports. If you need exters for good good I'm available.
Needs to be said, you are my favourite RUclipsr, such a nice lad.
Happy New Year.
Garrett, you have a great product. Happy new year.
Thank you Sullivan! I don’t know how a serious golfer can golf without a range finder! That was a great gift!
January third is coming! Happy new year G. wish you the best golf of your life in 2023
The greatness continues. Awesome stuff
I only play in the early mornings and can't agree more with ya, the vibes in the mornings are real.
