@Jordan Brorby He was very mature! He handled himself just as he should have. You do notice the kids that grew up on the course with their parents teaching them course etiquette and the kinds of things you learn when you play golf with other people. Like who putts first and why, why you don’t step in peoples lines, basic stuff really. But kids that grow up like that can either turn out to be entitled little brats, or they end up being very mature for their age and disciplined in how they act on a golf course. I always enjoy seeing those types of players out on the course or at the range. I enjoy playing a few times a week with one friend who’s son plays with us and that kid is 11 and he’s very good at how he handles himself on the course playing with adults. My funnest rounds I play in a week are with that friend. Because it’s so fun seeing this young “man” play and learn stuff. I focus on him more then my own game, and that ends up helping me shoot better! LOL
The impact you guys made on that kid by letting him join your group, you won’t even realize it. But for James, this is going to be a day on the course he will never forget. You saw how pumped he got when he made his putts…this quick round is the Masters in his head! It was great how he got to be a part of the group, like just one of the guys. Great video as always!

That wasn’t just one of the best Pinehurst series videos, that was one of the best GM Golf videos ever. Akshay is awesome both golf and personality wise, and adding James was such a fun twist and he played so well. Combine all that with the fun cradle setting, immaculate vibes/so many near hole outs, and it was such an amazing video.
Definitely have to have James back on the channel. He's got some serious skills, and more importantly an awesome character! You can tell he just loves the game. He's genuinely happy to help his competitors succeed! That kid is going places!
