As a knife lover the blade steel is 35 40% of why I pick a knife to buy, that I don't need. 20cv is great but I buy and collect for the designs and diff. steels
The high fin is amazing the other one was just a touch to small this is a must buy for me

Your design is rad but I'd be lying if I said I wasnt super excited for the Guthrie to drop. The Arctic Scout is a grail knife for me and this WE is probably the closest ill ever get.
Your Inmate design looks outstanding! Any chance they can take that hollow grind up higher onto the blade? Also very excited for the High Fin XL. I had the original one briefly but found it a little too small, so I'm looking forward to that.
That We Inmate is what I’ve been looking for. I love the Gayle Bradley 2 and the Inmate looks like an improvement and evolution on the design language left off by the Gayle Bradley 2. I haven’t seen anyone pick up that torch, so it’s nice to finally see it happening.

I had a deal for à knife at 89.00 but in D2 version. Does D2 is soo bad ?😢 Because I seen Medford knifes in D2 over 400.00. Thank you for your answer
20CV is fine but man i am just so bored with it. I know how spoiled we must be that I’m bored with 20CV but if I’m going to spend almost 300 bucks …..gah. Now the reate (or whichever company it is…i forget) knife has me excited. K390 is a banger, and it looks like a great knife.

My concern is that these are more like trophy knives just under $300 a piece they're not real EDC knives for working class person 😮
I mean, they are extremely high quality tools with the best materials and fit and finish the industry currently offers but don't think for a minute that these are delicate art knives that can't be used. They are absolutely knives that can and will function as an exceptional cutting tool. These will 100% hold up for any knife tasks someone could possibly throw at it during a lifetime of use; just understand that this doesn't mean they are made for batoning wood or for using as a make shift pry bar. They are folding pocket knives at the end of the day and cutting is what they excel at and solely what they should be used for. If by "working class" you mean using a knife for things that knives aren't necessarily made for, then you should just probably purchase a quality fixed blade and call it a day.
Too many coated blades. I'm a fan of a classic black handle and non coated blade
I don't like We, Civivi is more exciting to me.

Of course bro, but if I want a good price and good quality knife, I choose the Civivi line.
In my opinion, WE makes overpriced weak heat treated product.(Civivi falls in that same bracket with the heat treatement, but it is cheaper and easier to swallow)
Of course, their CNC work is excellent.
Regardless i don't like their knives so far.
I’d rather see you supporting American manufacturing. I’m sure that the quality is good coming out of China, but we need to support domestic industry whenever possible.
There aren’t many established American OEMs that will do collaborations with RUclipsrs (if any). Most of them will only work with certain other knife makers.
@@HighCRIof course - im sure that’s true. And I hope WE knives is paying Jarad well for these spots. It’s just a bummer that any hype and interest from these videos goes to overseas manufacturers

The We Inmate heh heh. Looks effective, remonds me of a Chehalem. Will be looking for explanation of the jail theme in the model names, what was the other either a Bestech Detainee, I do appreciate the irony that they're not allowed in jail.
I'm mostly a collector! I'm keeping the pricey ones in mint condition! Good resale value if I need the money. I have plenty of cheaper knives that I love to carry!
Dayum WE Knife bringing the absolute fire! I love most of these new releases. It looks like they really listened to the common knife reviewer complaint that there are too many tiny knives lately, and not enough large knives. Of these 7 new releases 5 seem to have a 4" blade (Nexusia/Nefaris baby, Guthrie, Sine Wave, Acuminal, Archeozic), the Falcaria has a 3.64" blade, and the High-Fin XL a 3.48" blade. With 4" being my favorite blade size, it seems they are single-handedly trying to get me bankrupt this year 😂. I'm loving the Guthrie except for the speed holes, wish there was a hole-less version. My favorite is definitely the Acuminal, closely followed by the Xufaris-XL 😍
