It was at this time that Stanley realised that Jesus Christ was the one who told him to "shut the fuck up". Stanley couldn't believe it, the messiah himself got so sick of Stanley's incoherent rambling, that no one had the patience to listen too, and cussed him out for it. I must say, what a based badass.

I love how you could see the narrator interacting with with the computer. Now I have the head cannon that hes a normal human that gained the ability to control a world at the cost of being permanently invisible.

I'd argue that the original game was already in the backrooms. Both have a super liminal feel to them.

I was a film student when I first played this, and I'm ashamed to say I pirated it.
At the time I absolutely didn't have the expendable cash to buy myself games. But I think it was this, along with The Witness, that started to make me feel really dirty to have pirated things which I loved so much.
I bought both of those games several years later on Steam. And I don't think I've played either. I just wanted them in my library legit 💪
Can't wait to get this one too 😁 and I think this time I'll actually play it! haha

theory: narrator does have a physical body but it can drive people into madness so it’s invisible and we cannot see it
also in the background i can hear a bit of “anticipating stanley”
Fanmade theory: stanley has now escaped the office place and now is trying to live normally 3 days later (idk when it came out) they get a letter from someone… *familiar…* (when I mean familiar you know who that is) so they make their way here into where this takes place stanley realises that no one is here… they think that you know who (the narrator) is behind all of this, just like when they first met during the demo.. after getting to the presentation room stanley hears a familiar voice.. it’s the narrator. And so stanley tries his best not to get noticed.. after the presentation he has luckily not been noticed (I like to think he’s wearing something different) so he gets to live one more day… and that is today…
I can't wait for the Broom Closet Ending.

Eh, maybe, but it wouldn’t need a full-scale vr conversion unless they added vr-specific content. You literally don’t have a body of any kind during gameplay. However, a vr version of the game with its own set of content made specifically for it (a spin-off?) would absolutely be a hit.
I've never been so excited about a game release.

After a month of playing and looking at every inch of the game, and listened to every dialog, im ready to give my impressions on this game, and I must say, i've been waiting for it since day one of the first announcement.

Crows removing Stanley's soul patch was justified by all the product placement.
It's good to see The Stanley Parable is still using assets from Portal 2 and CS:GO, even when moved over to the Unity engine.

I will wait here for 10 years so that any bug patches and fixes to anything or additions to anything inside this game are met fulfilled and completed. The game may be out now, but what matters to me is that i want this experience to be so perfect as to cry out organs out of my tear ducts and my face will tear itself off in the level of ugly cry I get when I play this game. Then, can I die happy, as The Stanley Parable is my favorite game besides tf2 super Mario galaxy & super Mario rpg combined.

Always wanted to play this. Watched plenty of play throughs over the years. Once I saw that Ultra Deluxe was released I decided now was the time I bought it on my ps5. Absolutely loving it. I’d protect the bucket with my life.

Wait, these trailers imply that Stanley is self-aware of the game and is simply working along side with the disembodied voice of the Narrator whenever he's inside the Parable.
(one trailer showed that the Parable is an entirely different place from the world shown here when Stanley tried to escape)
