There was only two things I knew/watch from Stream: The movie and the beach episode. After hearing about the Dark Megaman plot, I kind of wish I seen the rest.
I swear the Dark Megaman fights are basically "You know everything I'm gonna do, but that's not gonna help you cause I know everything you're gonna do, strange isn't ir?"
. . .Remember when this was just a silly series that imagined what the inside of the internet was like? This whole thing has the same arc as Naruto. Starts with simple fun times, ends with crazy cosmic magic BS.
Jesus I know the Megaman Battle Network canon is significantly different than anything canon to the original timeline that started with the classic series, but as the NT Warrior anime has progressed it's veered farther and farther into a bizarre melding of sci-fi AND fantasy. Stream especially here, it feels like with how crucial of a role time travel plays in the plot it starts to feel more like Chrono Trigger by the end when coupled with all the ridiculous/nightmarish bullshit they threw into the story just because. Like Regal suddenly turning into a fucking humanoid snake, seriously what the hell..?
I watched this anime when I was a child. You know something? It would have been great if Megaman/Rockman, because of some virus, turned evil but his friends managed to snap him out of it.
I think Slur and Duo need some rewriting. Their logic is so flawed in a bad way. Slur claims that it is the humans who use the Asteroid Navis for evil and thereby they deserve to be erased. Well ain't that awfully convenient how those Navis don't listen to their operators when they order them to quit causing destruction and the like? But sure the humans are evil even though some did try to fix their mistakes while the Navis continued doing selfish and bad stuff. Oh and the fact she deliberately gives them to selfish individuals who are clearly not the good guys and she plays on their desire to do bad. Seriously, her logic is so flawed it's bad. Duo using the same argument is flawed too because he's ignoring the fact Slur is a lot at fault for tainting his test with how she went about things. She practically rigged the test so the humans would fail. But of course humans are totally the ones in the wrong (said with sarcasm) and not this idiot messing up your test and her terribly flawed and eye rolling excuses. I mean come on, at least have Duo step in halfway and warn her about how the Asteroid Navis are ignoring their operators when the orders aren't to cause destruction and things of the like, and also tell her to give them to less selfish people to see what they would do with the Navis, while also calling out her clear non neutral attitude with the test. Maybe also the Asteroid Navis ignorant to good and bad, as oppose to totally evil, instead of only one not being so bad in Napalm Man.
I think the most uncomfortable part of the beach filler was when there was a shot close to Maylu's crotch when she was falling, real uncomfortably close, I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Hikari got arrested for the picture of it on his laptop. Dex bleeding black blood from his nose was also uncomfortable, but not as much. I still love the RockMan exe anime after all this time, but of course it has a lot of flaws, like sexualizing Maylu a bit too much...
The anime had this weird creepy thing with Dr.Hikari and Mayl for while before that. While nothing tops that the photos he took, there were a number of unquestionable moments. IIRC, back Axess, there was something about Mayl trying to cross-fusion while wearing special suit and Hikari had this creepy face about it.
59:25 wait a minute..... This PET is cracked, meaning its the same one from the movie... but the Barryl from the Movie was meant to be Barryl post-series.... the heck! I mean... if Barryl kept this PET like this... i should check if the PET from ancient Barryl is cracked or not. YEP! IT IS
Do you have any idea why they chose to not give Dex a cross-fusion? I thought GutsMan was a popular character, so it seems strange they wouldn't have used this excuse to give his navi some spotlight.
I think they really wanted to emphasize characters that turned up in 3/4, and give some early limelight to characters from 5. Dex and GutsMan play a FAR less active role in the games from 4 onward.
Omg you guys made StarForce a million times cooler by setting up that link to battle network, I wonder what part of legends links up to battle network and what part of X links up to legends. Even in expanded universe cross media stuff at least the cool stuff is there on display for all to see

there is a rockman exe movie, and its basically just the episodes of the bass and rockman fusion episodes put together.
