I also have a 2500 titanium Vivid racing exhaust that i havent put on yet due to the difference in flange. I have been waiting since 2021 lol
Yeah the difference in flange setup is so weird, not sure why they did it but we were able to cut and Reweld slip fittings it’s not a huge undertaking

My wife saw this video and now she wants to do this same thing on her 2.0t Supra. She wants to keep her stock downpipe but run the same tomei single exit. Do you think it’s good for daily driving?
So with a stock downpipe it will be perfect, just have to modify the downpipe to accept 3.0 exhausts

Hey man, must’ve missed the part explaining why but why did you have to extend the kenji dp? I just ordered mine and I have the aFe Takeda exhaust on currently that the kenji dp will be attaching to and I’m scared I’ll have to cut and weld like you did?
If you’re doing a 2.0 exhaust that’s made specifically for a 2.0 then you’re fine. I wanted to do a single exit tomei for a 3.0 Supra so we had to modify the 2.0 DP to fit the 3.0 exhaust
Idle sounds like a long fart but the revving sounds good
What’s wild is it’s only on cold start, for like 5 seconds once it sets it sounds normal
@@RyanDenton are you tuned? I have GTS roar enabled on my 440i M Sport so it tends to fire loud in cold start then becomes tame after running. I’m ok BM3.

Is it the same modification for the Performance pipe (down pipe) for the dual exits version for the tomei?
@@dinamixaero if you do the dual tip tomei yes needs to have a slip fitting put on
i have an active autowerke down pipe for my 2.0, is the diameter of the downpipe if you cut the flange fits any aftermarket exhaust for the supra 3.0 ?
We had to weld a piece on for the 3.0 exhausts to slip onto. But now that that’s done I can run any 3.0 exhaust I want on it
To get the down pipe custom to fit the 3.0 exhaust. Did you custom the part or were you able to purchase ?

Not if your exhaust is meant for a 2.0, I had to modify my DP cause I went with a 3.0 exhaust
On the any website your try to buy the tomei exhaust it says “this exhaust does not fit the 2.0” so, what did you guys do to make it fit?
Lol it fits, if you modify the a aftermarket 2.0 downpipe, did you watch the video I do explain what we did

@@zhihenwong9776 yes it’s for a 3.0 Supra, we modified the downpipe for a 2.0 to accept 3.0 slip fittings

Can you install the dual tomei on a 2.0 as well ???
If you mod the downpipe, you have to get rid of the clamp style fitting on the downpipe and change it to a slip fitting

@@ballii. the exhaust won’t trip the CEL but if your downpipe doesn’t have a cat it will. The one from Kenji Garage has a built in defouler so it won’t throw a code.
