Thank you so much for this concise and straight to the point video. It was helpful and informative without making it feel like a chore, you don't know how rare this is on RUclips. Looking forward to more videos from you. Learned a lot
Came up from Petapixel and I just love how you nailed it! Keep it up guys happy to be on the top of your first subs and will be hoping for more content. Greetings from Mexico!
Wow, great content guys. Loving it. Very clear on how you shot it, how you edited it. Good info on the lens you used as well. Definitely more watch photography stuff.
Well. I've always found Colored Ink photos to be cool. Damn near everything in the world is closed right now. I guess now is the perfect time to try this!
Hey guys, just ran into this. Keep it up, your videos are super professional and informative and this gives a lot more context in how to do things then most people posting similar videos are providing.
Great stuff...for some odd reason..the watch color grading needed a bit of touch up...seemed off with the tone of the colored paint. Thanks for the tutorial...though...like is given.
You have to mix it to your liking. If it's too thick, add more water. If it's too liquid, then less water. We find that less water is better for getting a broader paint base.
You would probably want a longer lens so you can get in closer. Macro's are good since the item is so small and you need to have good focus. However, you could use a non-macro lens and then focus stack multiple images to ensure the watch is fully in focus. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Hi guys, great video and thanks for the tutorial. However I tried the images link and it is no longer active, can you please update link as this would be a good time to keep us busy during the Corona Lockdown. Cheers.
I would love to try that but I don’t know anything about the computer editing…….I have never had an editing thing on my computer and it looks impossibly complicated. I am 70 now so all this tech stuff is beyond my grasp.
Can you guys make a mixing tutorial lmao. Whenever I try mixing the acrylic paint and water, it’s always too watery. When I pour it into the funnel, it’s very translucent, the colours aren’t very vivid like in the video.
Love what you guys are doing ! Learning so much. One of these days I will collab with you guys shooting some of my watches 😉 @socalwatchreviews (insta)

Great Job ! Do you photograph jewelry by any chance? Would love to see a video on that, keep up the quality work !
Avalanche We can definitely try that.
Beautiful, love it! Out of curiosity what were the Camera settings you used as a starting off point for us?
Try setting it to 100 ISO 300 shutter (depending on the light and sun) and 5-7 aperture.
Hi I see its not acrylic ink you use but acrylic paint. how much do you water it down ? Thanks for the video super cool.
Yes Acrylic Paint. We use about 30% acrylic and 70% water.
Great creativity. Have you showed this to Kenith Cole?
Thank You! No we haven't.
Hey! Great vid, how did you get nice lighting effect with this strong light? It’s all shoot without strobe light?
Cheers!
That's right! The light was constant, we didn't use strobes for this project

Thank you will do.
I love this guys, gonna try whilst in lockdown. Is it best to use a glass tank not a plastic one?
Paint sticks on plastic and glass is great. But you can use either or.
Great stuff...for some odd reason..the watch color grading needed a bit of touch up...seemed off with the tone of the colored paint. Thanks for the tutorial...though...like is given.
Great video! Your social media handles aren't popping up from the links in the description?!?
Awesome good to know will fix that thank you
Absolutely love this! For some reason, the pictures won't download?
Never mind! :D
Which photos?
UNPLUG Production sorry about that! Figured it out. If you scroll down more you can see them all.
what is the setting (focal, ISO...) of the camera please?
请问你使用什么机器拍摄的视频这么高的帧频
How much water do you use to mix the paint, and how much paint?
Please help, I can’t seem to get the consistency right!!
You have to mix it to your liking. If it's too thick, add more water. If it's too liquid, then less water. We find that less water is better for getting a broader paint base.
Can this be done on a non macro lens? Like a kit lens or a 50mm?
You could try but the reason we used Macro as much detail on the watch and ink
extention tubes
You would probably want a longer lens so you can get in closer. Macro's are good since the item is so small and you need to have good focus. However, you could use a non-macro lens and then focus stack multiple images to ensure the watch is fully in focus. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
May I know what inks did you use for this project?
Btw the images look amazing and i am gonna try it out.
Hi, we used Acrylic paint. You can get some at your nearest dollar store.
Hi guys, great video and thanks for the tutorial. However I tried the images link and it is no longer active, can you please update link as this would be a good time to keep us busy during the Corona Lockdown. Cheers.

@@UNPLUGProductions Yes, it works. Thank you very much
I would love to try that but I don’t know anything about the computer editing…….I have never had an editing thing on my computer and it looks impossibly complicated. I am 70 now so all this tech stuff is beyond my grasp.
You have to dive in deeper with Photoshop. There's a lot of tutorials out there to help you with this skill.
Can you guys make a mixing tutorial lmao. Whenever I try mixing the acrylic paint and water, it’s always too watery. When I pour it into the funnel, it’s very translucent, the colours aren’t very vivid like in the video.
You have to play with the amount of water. Just try less water and see where you end up.
UNPLUG Production ok Thankssss
No new videos?
We got pretty swamped, we will soon.
Yeah great
