Maybe a video on garnishes/details/props Things like adding a little clump of lavender or using a spray bottle on a soda can or like the plate and the towel in this video. The details are just so important but so easily overlooked. So maybe some video of explaining good techniques on that? Amazing video by the way, you really gotta make more!
Another awesome video, man. Strictly speaking for myself, I'd love a video about the "boring" stuff haha. Maybe one or two shorter videos on set props, building sets, and things like that? Such as the tile stickers... Always was curious on how you can (somewhat) easily build cool sets in a small studio set-up. Loving the content, though!
Thanks so much for recording your process! Very entertaining and informative. Will be trying a similar thing with my new knife and some different foods 😁 don't have all those lovely clamps you do but hopefully I'll sus it out! 😘😘
As 'Savage Creates' below here says "Was this your first time?!" ...it was amazing mate. Definitely subscribing because you are just going to get better and better. Cheers
It's never too late Tom ... after 3 years of uploading, but what to do if my home page shows this fantastic video now? Simply amazing! I also like your one more bite!!! I am subscribing now ... lots of learning! Thanx! ❤ Greetings from Karachi, Pakistan!!
what is that arm you’re using to hold the knife up? can’t find anything to hold knives up well like that. (i shoot a lot of knives/flashlights for work)
awesome video! Thank you for this! I wish clients could have just a little bit of idea how long time this kind of shot takes! This from setting up to final edit is min 3-4 hours of work!
This was a great BTS video. Got me thinking, how much of a shoot for the client is pre-planned? As in there seems to be a fair amount of trial and error here, do you do test shoots before shoot day with a client or is it expected there will be trial and error on the day?
Usually a shoot with a client is all pre planned and can be up to 10-20 shots per day depending on if we are running 1 or 2 sets. It can get crazy 😅 Thanks for watching! More on the way and I’ll definitely be talking about the pre production stuff etc!
@@tommedvedich thanks, yeah definitely keen to see more around prep and planning. Not enough actual professionals on RUclips showing the real ins and outs of professional photography business. Cheers keen for the next instalment.
I'd love to learn how to shoot floating garments since I'm working with a retailer as their photographer but I think i need to improve more on my shots, could you make one tutorial🥺
Hi Tom ! First of all GREAT VIDEO Dude 👌🏼 It helped me a lot and I have one question how did you fix the knife? 😁 How does it connect to the magic arm? Just saw the two videos about that topic and subscribed YOU SHOLD HAVE 100k 🤙🏼
I found Canon 24-70mm f2.8 II, to be very bad for product photography. Not sharp enough close up. A tremendous difference with a cheap Canon 100mm f2.8.
Some things, like freezing motion, do require very bright situations. But yes, this video is about how to shoot floating product photography with lighting equipment.
Why would you immediately start the video by literally chewing into the mic? Its at least 10x Worse then nails on a chalkboard for me, I’m not even sure how it’s possible but iv met tons of people like me that as soon as started chewing in mic I turned off and won’t ever watch another video by your channel, not like trying to be an asshole just maybe something to consider can just turn off mic while chewing.
scrolled down and my jaw dropped that you only have 1.4k. absolute hidden gem mate. Nice work
just stumbled onto your video and subbed. i'm so glad to see you're still making videos! gonna go through them.
This was your first time?! Duuuude! Awesome. This was great! One of the best breakdowns I've watched in years. #SUBSCRIBED
Thank you! More soon!
Great tutorial! Really helpful to see how to float those donuts. And yeah i had sprinkles everywhere last week. Cookie shoot. Yes i ate some!
I was so confused when I saw you had only 300 subs! This channel deserves at least 100k great stuff dude!
Wow, thanks! I appreciate it! Just getting started!! What else would you like to see?
Lovely laid back tutorial which I very much appreciate.
thank you!
Great work dude! Love your style of teaching and shooting. Keep it up please! It was very concise and informative!
Really enjoyed this mate, looking forward to more videos!
Thanks dude! Soon!

Would like to have seen more about the gear setup and what you were using and why than less about the hero donut! Otherwise cool stuff.
I thought I showed enough about the gear, haha my bad! donuts are more interesting in most cases!
This is SICK Tom! Nice to see the BTS like this. Cheers Niels (edc_and_me)
Great vid! Looking forward to seeing more content!

Which lights you used for this shoot seems like high sync light
These were just Einsteins from Paul Buff, I didn't use HSS though
Awesome content here! 📸

Very, very cool. Thank you for sharing. I do have a question: How'd you do the spins of the knife at the beginning?

@@tommedvedich nevermind😅 watchOS the video over again and found out, my brain was apparently asleep when you told it👀
The desktop app is only available on MAC?
PC as well I believe
where can I find mini stands and clamps like this?!
Same question!
Matthews mini grip kit - ebay is your best bet or you can pay full price at B&H!
I love it!
awesome video! Thank you for this! I wish clients could have just a little bit of idea how long time this kind of shot takes! This from setting up to final edit is min 3-4 hours of work!
how does this dude only have 711 subscribers?
thank you Alex!! I need to make more videos 🥵
Imagine someone breaks into his house and find him in a room with a donut knife XD
How do i find that gear to hold objects?
can someone tell me what the brand name of "stick holder" for the object ?
nice!!
Thank you!

Floating garments are TOUGH. That’s more of the prop stylist dept than a photographer dept (thankfully for me)
subscribed now i want more.

It helped me a lot and I have one question how did you fix the knife? 😁

Too bad you didnt show how the knif is attachted to the clam, cus i struggle with attatching stuff!
The stop motion effect on the live feed... dang, what a happy accident.

😅
Amazing video.. but not so budget friendly for amateur photographers like myself :(
Looks like a New Channel but the guy is not.
Nice Tutorial, keep creating.
haha thank you!
moarrrrr plzz
thanks!
Like for eating the donut ❤️
I found Canon 24-70mm f2.8 II, to be very bad for product photography. Not sharp enough close up. A tremendous difference with a cheap Canon 100mm f2.8.
Would you be willing to sell that knife?
gave it to a friend!
Sadly not possible to replicate without studio and lighting equipment.
Some things, like freezing motion, do require very bright situations. But yes, this video is about how to shoot floating product photography with lighting equipment.
Chopstick vs fork
Please translate the video into Arabic🙂❤️
