I love how much you truly enjoy your food! I don't know many "everyday normal people" (not chefs or food critics or something like that) that see, feel, experience food that way, but I do!!! I get it.. And it makes me happy to observe in others. And that's nevermind all of the nutritional aspects that ALSO excite me!

I buy Cooks gf sourdough. It’s frozen when I buy it so I defrost it. The slices are never quite cut all the way through so I finish that then add a little piece of parchment between each slice and put the loaf back in freezer and take out a piece or two as needed with no sticking together.

I really want to know what you would eat and supplement with if you only had $300-400 a month on food and supplements? This is the reality for a lot of Americans right now and I am trying hard to figure out what I really need to focus my money on while walking out chronic illness. Like we are talking $80 - 100 a week. groceries + supplements, what would you do?
Such a great question! What are the biggest impact items in her diet?
For me it’s focusing on traditional food, omitting toxic seed oils (Think Canola, safflower… Read “Deep Nutrition” by Catherine Shanahan for more info) and instead using avocado oils, olive oil, butter, beef tallow, making bone broth, meat on the bone, sprouted/fermented foods and fresh veggies, eggs and dairy ✨ I’ve also added matcha, tea infusions & green juice for weekly pick-me-ups.
For reference we are a family of 4 in Canada and we spend 150 hefty Canadian dollars a week.😂🇨🇦
Not that you asked me, but I would focus on the basics. I am trying to cut my grocery budget down even further right now. Unfortunately at 100/week it’s going to be hard to include high quality supplements. I only do multivitamin, vitamin D, collagen, LMNT (which I’m considering stopping) and protein powder and that costs $236/month. I focus on buying real whole foods that are organic and making sure I’m not wasting anything. I don’t buy fun snacks or treats usually because it’s just not in the budget. It’s hard these days I empathize with you, things are so expensive. Even unhealthy food is expensive nowadays. I know it’s a sacrifice financially but keep going! It’s worth it in the end
I'm a stay at home mom, have kids, and my husband's job moved us somewhere verrrrry expensive in comparison to where we last lived! I do not do all the supplements. I focus on the basics. Protein/fat/carbs. Getting in enough protein throughout the day. I get coconut water on sale in bulk at the store and put a pinch of salt in it. I do pay for a magnesium supplement but since taking it is so popular these days there are so many different price point options! I meal plan around sales and I do not buy everything organic if at all because it is just not feasible for our family with where we live right now. Getting sunshine. Going on walks. Regulating my stress levels. Workouts and proper cool downs. It all benefits and you tailor it your life and what works for you!

Cambria what is another brand of colostrum/prebiotic that you reccomend that aren’t super expensive? But still have similar benefits as ARMRA like being glyphosate free etc ♥️ I’d love to try ARMRA one day, but at the moment I cannot commit to paying every month for that brand.

My new fav drink is the blueberry version of your matcha drink! Except I use Moringa instead of matcha because it doesn’t have caffeine. And I use my homemade cashew milk and add some soaked chia seeds as well🤤
I like to do electrolytes, ginger tea, nettle tea, 2 coconut waters, and lemon water each day to stay hydrated! Also bone broth! 💜 💛

There’s something I’ve been wondering lately and it’s a genuine question I have. I see so many influencers recommending all these products like the protein powders and colostrums and collagens, etc and I’m wondering I guess specifically for you Cambria, are you only doing all of this just to prepare for baby or do you believe that our food system and soil are so depleted of nutrients that you’ll have to continue to take all of this stuff just to meet basic health markers forever? It’s just something I don’t hear anyone talk about. I’ve learned SO much from you and love your content but I just need to know is there an end in sight 😂. Because I tried doing all the things and got overwhelmed and I know God designed our bodies to heal themselves if given the right environment but at the same time our system is rigged with toxins lol so finding that balance has been difficult for me. Have you ever went a week not taking any extra supplementation to see how your body reacts or are you waiting to hit your target markers? Buying all these supplements is not sustainable for me in this economy so I’m looking for some common ground here 🤣 and I apologize if you have already talked about this in a video and I missed it. I buy organic foods and local if it’s in my budget but ultimately, I just want to eat my food and drink my yummy drinks without having to spike them with powders 😂❤

Although I can’t answer for her. In all honesty, a lot of influencers recommend a lot of things because it helps to pay their bills. I get that influencers have to make money. But it shouldn’t be to the extent that the person becomes disingenuous and it just becomes about making money more than it is to actually help their audience. I do know that trying to keep up with buying all the things can do more harm than good. Stress is just as toxic as eating unhealthy. A lot of people become stressed because they feel obligated to buy all these products to heal their body.
I’m a registered nurse and also a holistic health coach. I personally have wondered the same thing. I think it’s important to remember that health and wellness influencers at the end of the day are still influencers just as with any other industry. Our culture has an overconsumption problem and I think in the health and wellness industry it’s overlooked bc it’s “healthy.” I keep things relatively simple with my routine (multivitamin, LMNT, vitamin D, collagen, and protein powder on occasion to add to smoothies or overnight oats) I genuinely don’t think the human body needs tons of supplements and health gadgets and trackers to function optimally. I stick to eating an organic Whole Foods diet, reading the ingredient labels on my foods, getting sunlight, keeping stress low, working out daily, and prioritizing sleep. I agree it’s expensive and not sustainable unless you just have endless funds then by all means! Buying healthy organic groceries is my priority and it’s definitely a sacrifice financially but well worth it!
Also remember this is her full time job and she’s amazing at it, but if any regular person with a full time job tried to do all these things we’d have poor health outcomes simply from, like you said, the stress of trying to do it all 😂
