I played Reverse:1999 when it first came out and found the script really disjointed and unnatural, it sounded like the original Chinese script was just translated by AI, so the story was hard to follow. Does it get better? Because I find the premise itself interesting
I remember the earlier chapters having some mistakes, but haven't really noticed them after/during the 3rd story chapter or the events, but I speak english as my second language so I don't notice all mistakes. I definely suggest you check the game again if you have the time and interest 💕
The dialogues have been significantly better even since chapter 3 and 4 of patch 1.0 The first two chapters with weaker translation are what most people remember it for

They actually fixed some mistakes in chapters 1-3 and the script gets waaaay better in chapter 4 :)
