  • This video I explore the possible hideout location in Mt Lebanon. Plus I research Arcadia and the exact location where Bonnie & Clyde were embalmed . It's a typical deep southern town where not much has changed since the Bonnie and Clyde era .
The building is no longer there but the location is accurate . I love hunting down history .

Bob Miller stop acting like a know it all . You got 6 videos and 8 subscribers. I see sketchy characters everywhere I go that doesn't stop me from documenting. Stop being a wimp and take pictures, you describe yourself as if you are a professional photographer. Your channel doesn't show much especially professionalism . More noise from the peanut gallery

Im from Arcadia. Lots of private roads like that that are owned by hunting clubs. They do have the right to shoot without having signs posted. Lots of great little antique stores in Arcadia. Hope you walked the old railroad memorial sidewalk. My mother has a brick in it.

My mother was a child in Arcadia when they were shot. All of her brothers went down to Congers to see the bodies. She told me that every one of the men involved in the shooting had really sad lives after that and Mother thought it was because they had killed a woman.

I have a picture of Bonnie taken by Clyde or someone else. The car they were shot in and another car in pic with Bonnie with a very mad look as if she was looking for Clyde as to say come on or where is he. The area can very easily be identified as to where they stopped by someone familiar with the area.Like a park with white fencing. She is clean and has clothes on she was shot in. I've got original picture and may be able to be tested to exact time it was taken.Looks like about a seven or eight in the morning shadow. I guess it's about an hour or hour and half before they were killed.
The look on her face is priceless but definitely mad and late. I'm about to get it appraised because this will definitely be recognizable and possibly where they stopped to say goodbye to someone before the ambush.

@@alifeworthfinding2838 I just have that one pic. I remember as a kid my aunt and mom talking about them.I grew up in the Delta.Clarksdale,Ms. and my Aunt and her mom lived in a small town they were known to come threw.Marks and Belen,Ms which is 15 miles from Helena bridge and 30 miles from Clarksdale. They probably came three Clarksdale many times coming and going to Texas.I was just going through an old suitcase looking at WWII postcards , letters ,and pics when I came across it. It kinda blew me away. There is a Black Lake where someone states they would meet family there. The white fencing could be from there. I like to consider myself a pretty good researcher myself.lol. You can Google the town's I mentioned and say very likely indeed. My mom and Dad were born the year on and after they were killed. I will definitely keep in touch when I get an idea of what it's worth because it could put another stop on the route they took before they were killed.
Thanks for getting back to me.I will definitely stay in touch.

A Life Worth Finding, Thank you so much for sharing this 4 part piece of History. I noticed below you also love History. I LOVE history probably as much as you do. You also study it in the same fashion as myself. By the way you described the area in which the Deputies ambushed Bonnie and Clyde saying " This is where they would have ambushed them from " I could tell you put yourself back in time. Then with the Gas Station that the deputy would have stood under, you said " He stood right under this same roof " . I myself when I look at history enjoy it from that angle. Saying " They were right here " As well as passing landmarks from the time period. We are very much alike..Thank you again. I Really Enjoyed This!!!

Remember that ambush site highway was dirt, very narrow country road. The trees and bushes were right beside the road. So the officers were not in the trees that one can see today. That road has been widened and the original hiding spot of the officers is now flat gravel.
To see it as it was, look for the “reenactment” on RUclips filmed right after the ambush .
The movie The Highwaymen is the most accurate depiction of the actual ambush and the landscape at that time.

Wow. Looks pretty run down and neglected. Weeds? How much does it cost to cut them down. Couple maintained areas I guess. It says a lot about the people that live there I'm afraid. Think I'll pass on any visits.
