Hi there! Thanks for your question! Technically, you can use Illustrator to recolor- but I don't suggest it for this type of watercolor pattern due to the fact that there are SO many colors in this type of artwork, and recoloring this in Illustrator can get very complicated, and you will not have nearly the same amount of control over your recoloring as you do in Photoshop. If you wanted to do it, you would need to bring your artwork into Illustrator, Image Trace it in Illustrator- making sure you reduce the colors to only a few colors (preferably the colors would be somewhat reduced before bringing the artwork into Illustrator, and then maybe reducing them further when you Image Trace in Illustrator), and then using the Recolor Artwork tool to change the colorways. So it involves a lot of steps, and Image Trace can be VERY slow with such colorful artwork. And sometimes it can crash your computer. These videos may be helpful for you if you want to attempt this: - For reducing colors in Photoshop before bringing it into Illustrator: ruclips.net/video/WcSQG-M8afk/видео.htmlsi=lfberlqq5DTUL2KM - For Image Tracing (raster to vector video): ruclips.net/video/bNFM2SWB_sU/видео.htmlsi=_QTa-at_I8BV0ZQG But I highly suggest you stick with Photoshop for recoloring this type of artwork. Hope that helps and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!

Could we use illustrator instead of photoshop to process it
