J M Yeah, I can imagine so, I felt so bad for Sally when she was in prison for fraud she wasn’t responsible for, in this day and age with things like online banking it’s become so much easier to frame someone for an act of fraud or even to hack into your bank account
@@tiffanyreeson2975 Over a period of about 20 years (I think the Sarah Platt storyline was late 90s), 3 teen pregnancies isn't really that much. There is only so many things that can go on in peoples lives, there are bound to be similar ones every once in a while
James Edes that scene if him in the tram crash episode. I love how they shot it with him still in focus on camera but the background just dragged out behind him. I don’t think it’s ever been done in Corrie again since or any other soap. XoX
Great video, thanks. You may have done this already or others may have suggested but, what about some great Corrie double-acts? Jack and Vera, Mavis and Derek, Hilda and Stan? Would love to see them in a video of yours.
Love the fact you’ve done a Corrie Top Ten (more, please!), but it seems very weird to be grouping classic moments like the tram crash, Hillman’s canal plunge and Charlie’s murder with smaller scenes like trifle throw and the haunted pool hall (though admittedly, we and our podcast listeners definitely found that very WTF! 😆)
Now I've seen it all, Watch Mojo UK... ... ... and I *flipping* LOVE IT!! Cheers from a Corrie fan from across the pond! x Edit- before watching, I was like "I hope ____ is #1." After watching, I was like YES, I KNEW IT!! 😁
The tram crash was hilarious. It flew off the bridge and into a building, the whole time the driver was sat motionless like he's in an office chair, giving an unconvincing reaction shot.
What about Mel Hutchright? He was played by Sir Ian McKellen, and was supposedly a novelist of "kitchen sink" drama who stayed in the Street whilst working on his new "novel", and addressing the Weatherfield Book Club. Ken Barlow instantly had his number, who revealed him to be a scam artist, who had already conned some of the Street's residents out of money.
OMG May Wright, forgot all about her. You are so right, remember when she held Dawn captive and threatened her with a caesarean section? Crazy stuff indeed.
Should have included Vera Duckworth seeing Ivy Tilsley's ghost on the landing complete with wind blowing her hair...then later a young Sarah Platt waving at a bedroom window and when Gail asks who she is waving to she says "nanan Ivy"
Well that is the point. If u make a top ten of a show which isn't liked too much it won't get many views or likes or comments. The fact that show and eastenders seem to have so much doom and gloom is a turn off for a lot of people and don't make good tv. They r both bad with a sprinkle of good sometimes
What's more over the top, Corrie or East Enders?
Both in there own way
East Enders
Anita Dobson
East Enders
Corrie
The Deirdre Jelly throwing was her last ever scene on Corrie before her death (in real-life)
At least she got 2 of the biggest memorable moments
Also when gail threw a cream cake in Deirdre's face was funny af. "Ken do something" ha
Gail is ET in a wig
E.T in an Anthea Turner wig.
She's on pills for God sake
Venemofthe888 wow, never heard that one before
almost every single character past or present as been in prison including every member of a family in some cases

The tram crash was awesome I can't believe it was 9 years ago 😨
Haus of Gemini no way! Was that the first live episode they did, too?
Fuck...i still remember seeing that all those years ago...I was only about 8.
Yeah and I remember it even though I was 6 or 7 😂
I'm surprised they've not had plane crash.
F**k was it? Jesus I remember it so much.
Dog jumping in the tub with les battersby was hilarious

The AA meeting would be my #1!
i am dying laughing, remembering all these...blanch was a legend, i know somebody who actually looks like her and goes on like her in real life 😂😂😂😂

Not gonna lie, I was upset about Anne's death. She is a national treasure, even after death.
What a final moment!
Knew that storyline regarding Deidre wrongfully jailed would be up there, it got everyone talking at the time, and very memorable.
"Are Ashley got itt by tram dint eh"
As Fred would of put it
The Dierdre storyline is like the fraud stuff that went on with Sally recently
J M Yeah, I can imagine so, I felt so bad for Sally when she was in prison for fraud she wasn’t responsible for, in this day and age with things like online banking it’s become so much easier to frame someone for an act of fraud or even to hack into your bank account

Stephen Raitt yeah, I get that. It’s also important to re address issues in different generations as times change
I don't think there are many on the street who haven't spent at least one night in a cell 😂😂😂
This is possibly the most British thing on earth
I don't even watch it
The only time I ever saw it was in a hospital
You left out Gail Platt dancing to Katy Perry 'Firework' in her kitchen.
Holy crap, I remember that! That was such a minor little scene I wouldn't think anyone would remember.
I remember laughing so hard at the driver in the tram at 9:52, now I can pause and laugh at this goofy scene.

Adam Straw because it was awful

That thumbnail made me choke on my coca cola
The Tram Crash one of the best stunts in Corrie ever existed.Briliantly done.
Ok was there a moment where a painting spoke in the pub at the end of the episode or am I imagining this

The storyline of Ivy Tilsley/Brennan's "ghost" in 1996?
tram crash was so epic
I love coronation street so much
The first Gail vs Eileen fight, is fucking legendary
I don't remember whether it was Corrie or not but I (for some reason) found that scene where the 2 guys fell off the pub roof pretty memorable.
Coronation street acting really never got better did it lmao
I’m surprised Gail chucking a cake at Deirdre wasn’t in this.
The most ridiculous thing about the tram crash, is that it wasn't even the first time a train has derailed there.
Can you do one with Hollyoaks, oh boi that will be hard.
