Great video. We have just booked our Christmas holiday to Butlins Bognor Regis for the 23-27 December. We are staying in the Ocean Hotel. We’ve been to the Minehead Butlins but not Bognor so we are excited.

Bognor is great. Will you be going on day trips or making the most of being at the park?

@@tinymouse.travel We will stay onsite probably and make the most of it. We will be there for Christmas Day too so that will be an experience.

@@matty3993 Christmas day on the park would be a whole other level of magical. If you go past Chichester or you way to or from the park its worth a stop off especially near Christmas. But would be a short drive or bus from the park.

    Hi there
There was only 8 Butlins parks + 6 hotels i worked at Butlins for 10 years in the 70s/80s 😊

6 hotels! Were they stand alone or part of the park like at Bognor. How do the parks compare have they changed a lot or could you still see a lot that was familiar?

Sorry for the late reply. I've just found youtube was 'hiding some messages' or more accurately not making them pop up. I have one more of their current parks to visit (Skegness) but think finding their old sites would be a great hobby while travelling.

I was inspired by your recent Butlins video, I was looking at this location. What are the chances that I found your video for it? Have you got any tips or advice while booking?

If you have booked with Butlins a number of times before its worth looking into their Premier Club which gives a discount.
The accomodation without a kitchen is cheaper but it would be worth hiring a microwave and at the least taking a few snacks.
I have a few videos showing the types of accomodation, it worth watching before you book so you dont get a surprise. The accomodation starts at basic and quite old (or perhaps you could say retro) but works well as a place to sleep then make the most of the park and local area.
I've not stayed in their most expensive accomodation but theres not a huge difference between the cheapest and the mid-range except if you prefer to have a shower BUT if its a big difference in price the swimming pool has showers.
Oh, and have a look at different times of year if you have flexibility as the prices vary a lot BUT the entertainment varies depending if its mid-week which is usually for small children, school holidays or adult only music weekends.
I hope that helps, but I'm glad you've been inspired to do a Butlins trip. I hope you enjoy it 😊
