Hello Milena. First of all congratulations on baby #5. Second of all I want to say a I so admire the transformation you have allowed God to make in your life. I am older than you, my kids are already grown however, you still have an impact on of my life as well. May God continue to bless you and your family.

    1. establish a schedule! weekly/monthly. Milena even schedules how many hours per day are housework. 1:12
    2. make a cleaning caddy! that way you know where ALL your work materials are and you can take them with you around the house. 3:43
    3. *de clutter* your space. there are online accounts and challenges for this. would you rather organize constantly or de clutter regularly? 6:40
    4. make donation and return bins! keep it large and accessible for the whole family to find. schedule a time to clear out once a month. 9:46
    5. work smarter not harder! this basically sums the whole video up. reduce the constant cleaning for managable spurts and recognize what season you are in of life. priorities are allowed to change! 11:21
    6. remember your WHY. why am i working in this household? know your purpose and work towards it. 13:10
    7. take a rest day. seriously! every job has breaks and yours should too. it helps you to be motivated and refreshed. 14:45
Milena, please do the idleness video 🙏 It has been a lifelong struggle and as a newly married SAH wife... I need the reality check.
    🧡 ~ Jenna

Your transformation over the years has really heavily influenced me! I started watching your channel way back before you and Jordan were married. I think I was around 15 or 16 then, and was at a really unhealthy place spiritually in my life. Watching your channel encouraged me to put more influence on my faith and to get out of an abusive relationship. I saw hope for people close to my age that wanted to honor the Lord. Fast forward to now, I'm 21 and your transformations have challenged me in every stage of life to push to be more Godly and gentle-spirited. The Lord has laid it on my heart to get married, have kids, and follow a homeschool/homesteading lifestyle which is not where I thought I would end up in life. I'm so thankful for your channel and your heart for the Lord. I want to be like you when I grow up. :)

Mama of 3 and I really needed to hear the part about idleness being poisonous for the home. after the holidays I tend to get so overstimulated and burnt out that I cope by doing nothing for long enough that it makes a bigger problem. God works in funny ways. I’m grateful I came across this video when I did. God bless Many blessings to you & yours ❤

Hi there! I just wanted to say that being a SAHM can be or feel like one of the hardest jobs in the world in so many ways. I currently have an almost 3 year old and an 11 month old, so I'm in the thick of it with you. :) Two things that I've found very helpful recently are 1. As Milena mentions here, to declutter your home and simplify things as much as possible. If something isn't working for you, keep playing around with a different way to do things until it makes more sense for your family and the season that you're in with your kids, i.e. using the crockpot to cook your dinner on a busy day, maybe it's NOT doing a load of laundry every day (stressed me out!) but doing it randomly throughout the week and having a folding party on the weekend. 2. I've been reading Grumpy Mom Takes a Holiday and it's been so eye-opening to me. I realized I've been feeling entitled to easy days with my kids, to have children that are in good moods or take good naps, etc. instead of surrendering to the Lord and accepting the day and season He's given me. Hope you get through this challenging season and come out refined like gold!

Nice that cleaning cabby. Good tip!
For the gloves, I put first cotton gloves on and over them put my rubber gloves on. The cotton absorbs all the sweat and when I have dry skin I cover them with olive oil, put the cotton gloves on, put over that the rubber gloves and while cleaning I give my hands a cure.
Afterwards you dump the cotton gloves in the laundry, take a fresh pair for the next time.
And when the cotton gloves get soaked you can easily change them with a fresh pair.

Hi Milena, thank your for this video ! As a working mom of 1, executive in finance, running your home like a business also means learning to let go. Learning to prioritize as you said but more than that, learning that you can’t do it all, all the time. You have to implement a Paretto-like reasoning and put your effort in tasks which represent 80% of gains while taking 20% of your time. Put effort where it is necessary and leave the rest. I would advise to rebuke perfectionism at all costs, because it is a great source of exhaustion and frustration. Your home, like any business should survive without your 24/7 presence. I know it may sound weird but thats exactly what running a business is about. Focus on efficience and optimise your time and assets.

But I also would like more practical advice on how & what to prepare the day before? Do we cook two dinners the day before? Do we do two sets of dishes the day before? Instead of unpacking the dishwasher in the morning do we do it at lunch and unpack then? Looking for very practical advice on how to make it a possibilty. So we can rest on the sabbath for real. ‘Cause looking at a pile of dishes, and having a small kitchen and no counter space, it needs to be done in our house to make room for eating food and prep work

A tip for the gloves getting water in them- use those face wash things for your wrist that stop water from getting all over your arms. They're like little scrunchies but absorbent. Just slide them up your arms near the top of the gloves and your gloves, arms and clothing stay completely dry. Game changer!
